Talking of potentially tapping into the Brazilian market, if money was no object (meaning we actually had a little bit of money). It would be a no brainer to go for someone of the ilk of Jean Pyerre from Gremio. I've been fortunate to watch him a few times with a few Brazilian friends of mine who follow Gremio (granted they've been on TV), but the kid is different gravy. Creative, sees passes I didn't think was possible, composed and technically quality. If there was ever a time to go for him before he hit the upper echelons of the game it could be now, depending on what our contacts are like, and a bit of backing. Sadly, the only way I can see us tapping into the Brazilian market is if Phil opens one of those places where lasses go to get their fannies waxed in between the charity shops and poundstores on New street.

More rumours doing the rounds in Brazil on this one, wonder if he's one of the marquee signings Phil has lined up after Mbenza/Bacuna leave?

That's 3 of their clients we've been linked to in the last couple of windows, Lincoln, Yuri de Olivera & now Lazaro.

Negotiations advance, and Lázaro, from Flamengo, is close to hitting Huddersfield, from England.
The idea of the English club is for a 1-year loan, with an option to purchase 60% of the economic rights for 3 million euros (about R$ 20 million).

Is it a coincidence that some random Twitter post says we're incredibly close to signing him an hour after Maynard confirms we're interested in him on here 🤔

as he is probably one of "the bums off seat signings" does that mean that bacuna, mbenza or LOB lined up for a move away. as phil said these types of signings would depend on people leaving first

This guy knows nothing by the way. His 'sources' are DATM and transfer rumour accounts on twitter which are usually accurate every 1 in 100 tweets.
