I do often wonder who these people are that seem to have the time to change the Wikipedia page for every player we get linked with

Yeah I'm such a fool. I believe all the covid stories on the MSM news channels as well. Especially the BBC.

You have to take the rough with the smooth apparently he could be the next shearer. About time too. Those sheep must be baking with a full fleece in this weather!

This guy knows nothing by the way. His 'sources' are DATM and transfer rumour accounts on twitter which are usually accurate every 1 in 100 tweets. TownRWe branched out to a Twitter account? 98.9% success rate..... 🙌

Lad had 4 goals in 3 games up until recently. This must make it 5 from 4 in the u/20’s. Obviously he’s should be playing at a higher level.

So, is “Vinicius” his mother’s surname and “Marques” his father’s surname?

as he is probably one of "the bums of seat signings" does that mean that bacuna, mbenza or LOB lined up for a move away. as phil said these types of signings would depend on people leaving first Would be replacing the Eiting loan, one would have to think. Yup - and also means there's actually some point in signing Duane Holmes, as he would surely just become the backup? (which he's more than capable of doing just fine - you just wouldn't want him as first choice for a whole season if you want to finish closer to 8th than 20th).

I am not sure that Holmes is a backup, 20 to 30 min as a sub seems to be his limit to me.

Someone who would play out the end of a game in the event of first choice fading etc - and who might play the odd 2 or 3 games to cover for injury suspension.

It was only a couple of years ago we had a raft of people moaning we let him go too early, as he progressed back to the Champ and did relatively well for Derby. Now he's returned he's deemed not good enough for back-up. Football fans, don't you love em 😄 For what it's worth, he's clearly not a starter for me either.

I think with Holmes and probably anyone who came in in January we need to wait and see.He nor the likes of arrons made the impact they would have been after but came in under difficult circumstances and into a system the in all honesty probably is fairly tough to get your head around, especially with limited time to work with them. That said with a full pre season under carlos they really need to hit the ground running as many minds are already made up. Personally I will give them a couple of months to make my mind up.

I agree I know they can talk themselves up but I agree difficult circumstances, moving, not having played. But Aaron’s just seems to have that something about him. Whether we get it out of him I’m not sure but needs a bit of time. I think we know what we get with Holmes even Derby fans said the same sometimes ok sometimes anonymous

You maybe right.guess I’m just willing to give the benefit of the doubt for the time being.probably only on the basis that a few times I watched derby games on the tv I thought he played well. You may turn out to be right but like I said before due to circumstances of when he came in I’m willing to wait and see before completely writing him off.

My take on Holmes is we may the best out of him if we can finish the puzzle and get the balance right in midfield and more movement in the forwards just hope Phil backs Carlos all the way.
