An interesting signing - I hope he makes as much impact as Ben Chilwell and ESR did during their time here.
Good luck to the lad and welcome to the best club in football

Great loan. Although someone needs to tell him Huddersfield’s not a city or nice. Two things I picked from the interview 😉😂 I remember Scans asking where the tube station was when he arrived at Huddersfield Station. *Maybe* he was just a dead-pan funny chap!? I saw him in Currys with his wife/girlfriend/sister/friend/whatever shortly after he signed. In the brief minute I overheard, he seemed to be asking some really idiotic things about mobile phones which I hope were just him taking the piss in a "I can't really be arsed with this, but she's dragged me along so I'll show willing" type fashion!

More than covered at centre back now, surely no risk of Keogh playing anymore. I wasn't so sure about it as an idea when he was rumoured as he's very young, but the more I've seen the more I'm excited by it, looks like a very good young player. Left sided as well so that should put Sarr on the bench. I hope youre right, but it will be a big ask for an 18 year old to replace the physical strength and power than Sarr gives us. I think people dismiss what a good defender Sarr actually is ( tackling, blocking, winner headers, muscling forwards off the ball etc ) because of how poor he can be when he has the ball at his feet. Personally think we needed cover for the role and this lad offers it. If he's better than that, then all well and good. In a three, with this lad to the left (6ft3 despite being 18yo), Pearson to the right (no idea on his height, but he looks to have a presence about him), and Sarr in the middle - that's a pretty solid, BIG looking defensive unit. And we KNOW we can rely on Critchlow or REG if they have to come in.

I have no idea if he’s any good or not. I’m just glad as seem to have shifted our loan policy.

Welcome and good luck.
He sounds confident in himself and we must have signed him to play. Slot him in the centre of 3 to tidy up and bring the ball out.
Positive move if he is as good as what is suggested.

Good loan signing hope he can do as well as Chilwell did on loan for us,hope we can get a few more premiership loans in Maybe try Billy Gilmour... He might better understand me saying well played, or politely if not well played, ‘please keep Town up’ now sign my programme please, in ma (well boozed) matchday Scottish accent than some of the players I’ve met over the years. Hopefully my ‘please keep Huddersfield Town up’ begging is not needed in the business end of the season match visit (all being well) in 2021/22 !

The only time I've ever been worried was the Huddersfield v Barnsley, last match of the season nail-biter a few years ago now. Listening on the radio and out in the garden trying to plant bedding plants. I kept having to fetch the bedding plants back from next door's garden after I'd flung them over there in a fit of temper when Barnsley scored!

I'll trust an article in football.london written in the last month which mentions his height thanks. He's 18. People grow. We KNOW we can rely on our two to come in and do a job for the odd 20 minutes or game or two without letting the team down, because we've seen them do that repeatedly, along with the points based evidence. Look at our points in the second half of the season when we decided to go with Keogh and Sarr, compared to the first half where the youngsters played a lot more. Our form was something like 14th with them, and 23rd after we'd supposedly fixed the "problem" by bringing in Keogh.

No need to get fucking shirty, I wondered how tall he was and looked on Google, it said 1.87 m. I'm glad he's my height, we need more threat than just Nabby

Can’t see Keogh sticking around now, wonder how long he’s got to decide whether to take our contract.

First true sign of an intent to add quality so I’m all for this loan.
Hopefully not too long before we can pass judgment based on seeing him play ourselves.

not that I would stalk him or anything, but does the club own any property for these loan lads, or will parent clubs sort out where they live? Stick him with JK and Sorba, all the funny accents together 😁 And. Make all of their WAG’s and relatives sit in the South Stand.

Two things I picked from the interview 😉😂 Though I don’t live in Huddersfield runner I have to say in visiting for long weekends in the last 10 years including the football that I’ve never had a bad experience in the town. Ok it may be different for permanent residents and every town will have issues locally that folks like me don’t see or experience but as a seasoned traveller in the UK and Ireland I have to say Huddersfield is one of the best I’ve been to ! As a registered heroin addict, avid crack smoker, burglar and occasional car thief I agree that it's a great place to live,Ive had no problems living here!!

Just watched a YouTube video of him. Obviously it’s only at a youth level (but against the best kids in the country) but he looks good. Strong, composed, stuck some good tackles in and just seemed in control.
Interestingly there were a lot of clips of him as the back man around the box dictating play, either stepping out ten yards past the centre forward and passing into midfield or playing long cross field balls. Like Sarr did but looking a lot more comfortable doing it - Keogh cost us quite a few goals stepping out with the ball as well. Looks just right for our system.
His challenge will be the physicality, getting elbowed in the face all game and wrestling with brutes at Preston.

At least he will have experience of playing against 'men' in the "Whatever the fuck it's called" trophy for the league 1 and 2 teams. It might be a stupid idea to let the PL kids teams play in it, but it will work in our favour this season. Levi will have been elbowed quite a few times in it last season!

Yup - he's played in 5 of these over the last couple of seasons. Chelsea won 1, lose 3 and drew 1 - with Chelsea youngsters conceding 7 in their 3 games last season. Even lower league men's football is a MASSIVE step up from the top level of the U21 game. Hope he does well obviously, but I highly doubt we're going to see him suddenly dominate and become a 30+ games mainstay of a successful Championship defence.

Could go either way and it depends on the lad’s mentality at this stage really. However, a defence full of inexperienced kids up against seasoned pros is COMPLETELY different to one inexperienced kid amongst more experienced defenders. Reece James went to Wigan at a similar age, looked the business and 2 years later he’s in an England tournament squad.
