Yes I do . I was being a complete hypocrite Steve when I pointed out no one had been sanctioned for spelling mistakes. I've now being cornered. I'm now desperately trying to deflect. Steve is right Ted is wrong . 1-0 Steve. Game set n match Steve. Steve is always right . Hats off to Steve. Etc etc Again, predictable, what else could YOU do when cornered! Steve. You keep banging on about this but the key is the last line, particularly "blatant misuse". Nobody is getting banned for dropping the odd typo into their posts and that is proven on a daily basis. Try this: go and have a look at the action log and see how many people have been yellow carded for spelling "offences", and then ask yourself if you really need to keep beating this particular drum. In fairness to halifax, that rule does appear to empower the spelling & grammar police on here who accost many of us. Oh come on, most misspellings just turn threads into punfests. Nobody is empowered or bullied about it. |

First off, no - I don't only come on here to have an argument. I've been on here for over a decade. What I'm saying is that you're on here arguing against a ban for someone who's been banned where their latest - and not their first - breaking of the rules was for blatant and despicable homophobia. I haven't once said you're excusing it, but I am pointing out that you're trying to excuse a poster banned for it. The fact that you keep trying to reframe it in what sounds an awful lot like an anti-Islam sentiment that sounds a like a blatant deflection. I'm not accusing you of anything. I believe you get the number of pages of threads referencing those words, but I'm no expert. |
