You can bet your last dollar that Joe Lolley will return to the starting line up tomorrow as the interim boss goes on the front foot to add some attacking intent at last. Definitely play Toffolo, O'Brien and Koroma then and make sure Lolley has to spend all match tracking back

4-0 town. They will be bricking it now we have learned how to score and defend. They will be looking to come away from here with a point and will not throw caution to the wind.

No. There is no comparison between them and Sheffield Wednesday. Personally, if the club I supported had won the title and European Cup , I’d have expectations as well. Agree, an honours list thats the envy of most, two European cup wins when it was a competition for champions, although they do get a bit deluded and forget its not 1980 anymore. Agree I was just looking at the situation from a fans point of view. We have had total meltdown since leaving the PL, god knows what it would have been like if we had won what they had . However long ago it was, it’s understandable that fans want to feel proud of their club.

13/2 to score anytime with Skybet. I’ll be surprised if 11/1 is offered anytime soon after his recent goals. Who’s our penalty taker now? Got a few to choose from after Hillsborough Do we know who’d be our first choice though? Who’d step up in game if/when we get a penalty? Fraizer Campbell is the only current member of the squad who’s had a go in recent seasons and that didn’t go well. I’m thinking it would be Sorba or O’Brien.

We surely should have learned by now never to take anything for granted in this league, for example I was expecting us to hammer Wycombe last season. Forest will turn the corner at some point, but hopefully not yet. 2-0 Town. I think when Town had a solitary point two years ago, It was game #8 when we won at Stoke. Mind, the Cowleys had been in charge a couple of weeks and still lost a couple of matches, so whoever comes in for NFFC it won't be an overnight turnaround.

The race card is coming out over Nottingham Forest sacking of Chris Hughton

The race card is coming out over Nottingham Forest sacking of Chris Hughton So the fact that he only won 14 out of 53 matches whilst having a top 6 wage budget has nothing to do with it then? 26.4% win percentage is abysmal considering the playing squad he has at his disposal. If Forest were racist then surely they wouldn't have appointed him in the first place? Martin O'Neill won 8 in 19 for them but got sacked in 5 months, do they hate the Irish aswell? 🤔

Before Clough era they spent many years as a second division outfit. They had a great spell in the sun which is rapidly fading into history. It's becoming about as relevant as Towns glory years in the 20s as there becomes fewer people around who actually witnessed it. Decent spells in the First Division pre-war and throughout the 60s (including a Cup win in 1959). You're right that there's a now whole generation that have only known the second/third tier. Fortunately I know as many realist Forest fans as I do deluded ones. Town never dropped below the top 2 until 75. Now most people see Town as third tier.

This is great, people looking forward to the game. Discussion, analysing & banter some positive some cautious. Hopefully big noisy crowd, if the Forest players don't react to this quick change their fans certainly will. We're competing in the Championship again & it feels good. Bring it on. UTFT If ever a post felt like it would come back to bite...

Whilst I have been accused of finding racism where there is none, if anything it feels like Hughton may have been given a little longer than a white manager may have been precisely to avoid allegations of racism. He's a good coach but did a shit job at a shambles of a club.
Since Billy Davies' first spell ended in 2011 they haven't had a manager reach 0 games in charge. they've had 5 manage more than 50 but fewer than 60 - Billy Davies second time round (very white), Dougie Freedman (pasty as fuck) Aitor Karanka (white but less pasty, Spaniard), Sabri Lamouchi (French with Tunisian decent, BAME) and now Hughton. Hughton has by far the worst win percentage and the highest loss percentage.
When your last two managers are BAME, are you really a racist employer?

It’s a real shame plonkers like that come out with that rubbish. It has nothing to do with race. It’s not the first time he has been sacked and probably won’t be the last, like most football league managers.
