Their average crowd for 2021/22 was around 7,000 with 3 crowds above 10,000, so I'd imagine that will continue next season. It is a lot of money for that level, but they'll probably be at the top end of the pay scale in that division.

It’s not sustainable regardless of the crowd size (not that 7,000 brings in a significant amount of money anyway). The majority of revenue in football comes from TV income, sponsorships & wealthy owners, not crowds.

I'm sure Stockport went into administration 10-15 years ago? You'd think clubs would learn spending beyond their means, particularly at league 2 level, is not sustainable & only leads to a downward spiral.

The majority of revenue in football comes from TV income, sponsorships & wealthy owners, not crowds. Its not sustainable if all their players were on £5k to £7k but as with all clubs some will be paid more than others. The average in L2 is around £2k to £3k per week and given that Stockport's early bird season ticket prices are at £385 for adults, then the revenue from that if they sell 7,000 plus will go a long way to covering their wage bill providing the majority are on the division average. In 2020 Tranmere's Dave Nugent was the highest paid player in L2 on £12k per week, but the division average was £2,200.

Not sure if he’s been mentioned on here, but I wouldn’t mind seeing Ellis Simms here next year on loan from Everton. Tall lad that would suit our style perfectly, another big tall skillful lad that Sorba could aim for.

Saw him playing for Hearts last season and thought he could do a job here. Didn’t realise he was owned by Everton until I saw an article about Hearts wanting him back on loan.

Yeah I haven’t seen anything about his contract situation, but he looks a prospect but not at the level Everton want right now.

Would people be fine with no more signings and keeping what we’ve got? Out: Campbell, Eiting, Vallejo, Sarr, Blackman, Brown, Colwill, Sinani, Anjorin In: Boyle. We've replaced Sarr, with somebody almost as good but much cheaper. Nobody else (yet). The answer to your question is - from me at least - no.

Would people be fine with no more signings and keeping what we’ve got? Think we need some in short on cover in midfield even if LOB stays and we do need a better attacking options.

Would people be fine with no more signings and keeping what we’ve got? Considering as we have only signed a player who is 26 and played one season in League 1 in his entire career and having been one game away from the Premier League? No.

Presumably one of REG/RCN will be stepping up into the back-up defender option with Boyle taking the third slot when we play a back 3.
We are still short in attacking options with Campbell, Sinani and Anjorin all leaving and Harratt out on loan for another season. I would like us to bring in at least one winger, attacking/creative midfielder and striker and that's even if no-one else leaves.

Will be REG REG is above RCN in the pecking order, but as keeps getting pointed out Carlos prefers playing left footers on the left. As such, I'm not convinced we're done in the transfer market at CB, with still a chance we're looking for a first choice LCB.

Critchlow as cover for Boyle if in a 3?
Lees might get the nod of Boyle in a back 4?
That's 3 new squad members, if so.
Aarons, Rowe, Grant, Phillip's, Jones?, Camera?
Feels to me like we really need a bit more in midfield but were working on it. Not that bad elsewhere I feel.

Is Aaron's with his bags yet. I saw he made an appearance for Jamaica last week and they have a match tomorrow morning.
