Anybody excited for your apology and acknowledging that some great business was done? No chance. He's the first to jump on my posts when a deal goes sideways. Clearly doesn't understand how transfers work Only because you don’t have a clue what you’re talking about. Big difference I might talk rubbish but I’m certainly not sad enough to claim I’m in the know when I aren’t.

I would say it’s been a 6 out of 10 window. We seem to have added some quality to our leaky defence. That’s a big positive.
Then that’s it. A young striker that won’t have until Xmas.
Nothing in midfield.
I’ve seen posts saying that this squad is comparable to last seasons. I see their point as we seem to have now replaced like for like But I’m not sure.
Only time will tell. I hope the 6 turns into a 10 (I’m proved wrong and some poster can dig me out)….and we can enjoy our football again.

Left ; O’Brien, Eiting (didn’t play much)valljo (injured) high (Carlos played him) In Kasumo, Rudhoni So I guess on paper I could agree. However we haven’t progressed in that area. That’s my opinion.

What is a successful window?
If the transfers mean that we stay in the Championship, as this seems to be success for Dean, then I think that we have probably done enough to achieve that.
Considering the comments coming out of the club before hand, the window has proved to be better than I was expecting.
Will we manage to finish 3rd in the league this season, not a chance!
Are we a stronger team now than we were before the window opened, no, but LOB and Toff were going to leave anyway.

Agree we could have done with an extra CM. I suppose it all depends on if we can keep Kasumu fit because he'll provide the legs we need in midfield. I also really like what I've seen of Camara so far. Rudoni is wasted playing a deeper midfield role, he needs to be more advanced & help create chances in the final 3rd.

If he’s been playing in a deeper role for Town then they’re not playing to his strengths from what I saw of him in a few games last season. He’s looked a good finisher in the games I saw, capable of breaking late into the box, a lot like Chris Beech used to.

I'm happy with the business we've done (fees for O'Brien and Toffolo aside) but I'm concerned about the deals that were not done. Specifically, I'm concerned about our left side.
Nakayama solves an issue at LCB, or he solves an issue at LB. He can't be both.. And I'd question whether he's a fullback or a wingback, if we're playing a back 3.
Mbete might be a direct replacement for Levi Colwill but that's a lot to put on him. He might be every bit as good but LC is a tough act to follow. He could just as easily be as far from ready as Mipo Odubeko was.
Nakayama is the only left sided defender I'm confident about. Mbete is an unknown and the other two are Ruffels and Boyle. Higher up the pitch we have the ultra right footed Sorba Thomas who loses his best attributes when you play him on that side.

Our squad compared to our squad under the Cowleys is significantly weaker.
Hopefully however the new signings slot into place and propel us up the division.

W T absolute F ! Cristiano Ronaldo turned down £211m-a-year in wages to play for an unnamed club in Saudi Arabia, but Manchester United's 37-year-old Portugal striker is now reconsidering the offer. (Athletic via Mirror - subscription required)

Mind-boggling and insane PorrohmanCould help millions out of poverty just by every top class footballer donating a year's wages. Hell, even if they donated a fucking month's wage each!!!!

If transfer fees for the greedy league were designated in terms of how many or how much of a hospital the fee would build maybe people would think twice before forking out for it, but then again this is the UK in 2022 so maybe not.

Anybody excited for the outrage tomorrow when we’ve announced absolutely nobody? Anybody excited for your apology and acknowledging that some great business was done? Phenomenal business, I really do apologise. Who’d of thought selling 12 million and signing 2 would end up like this, could be worse though as dean said we could be Derby. A team that could afford to pay for a manager and will likely be a division higher than us next season.
