See there are quite a few mentions of Lucas Joao. Surely even with what I think is only 1 year left on his contract he would be out of budget if not from a fee point of view (Reading are in trouble) but definitely wages. Happy with Boyle and REG coming back will be like a new signing and with Pearson, Lees and Deeper lying Hogg there isn’t much needs doing at the back. Most work would need to be in midfield particularly if LOB leaves which seems certain… I also think we need a Right back as whilst Turton was most improved… I’d have him as back up and look to potentially cash in on Pipa who went from being one of our best to being one of our least good players last season. Bromby said in an interview with Steve Chicken the other day that the emphasis will be on attack in this window. An attacking midfielder, striker and left winger would be my guess, but no idea who. The way we play is perfect for Josh Koroma on that left side, i really don’t know what went wrong this season. |

Agree but all that would have taken was coaching? Every 5 go outside. I never actually rated Koroma and was fuming we were going into the previous season with him in the team He proved me wrong to the point i thought he was a 5 million pound player. Only to prove me wrong all over again. |

I think it will be best for both parties if he moves on, we need new options in the top third of the pitch to progress next season, plus a couple at least in midfield with the likely departure of O’Brien. |

If we got Boyle, Joao, Mcatee & Fleming/Brannagan and only lost O’Brien that would be a fantastic window.
Slim chance of pulling all them off but here’s hoping.

Possibly right of a 3,in a 4 I don’t think he does.Carlos tends to want left footers left side and right right side so be surprised if played reg,lees,Pearson on left hand side of back line. That’s only going off what he’s done before however. |

I almost posted about this lad the other week after watching them play Chesterfield in the play offs. He stood out, looked very comfortable and did a couple of things which made you wonder what he's doing in the conference. Definitely looked worth bringing in as a development project |
