Hopefully we get mcatee on loan and if o'brien goes we should sign Zian Flemming and then we need 2 Lcb's,a young fast striker,a Lw and a backup goalkeeper to Nichols If we bring in Mcatee & Flemming that would be two CAMs & we rarely played with an out & out CAM last season. Not been sarcastic. Please can you confirm what a CAM is ? |

That's not necessarily a reason not to. Keep changing and adapting, it makes it harder for opponents to work out how to play against us. |

Why would Millwall sell to us? If we offered them and the player a package that appealed to them, why wouldn't they? Millwall will probs be fancying another push at the top 6 and keep their best players... |

Maybe, but he's only got 1 more year on his contract. If he doesn't extend they might prefer to cash in now rather than lose him for nowt next summer. Similar applies to Toffolo in our case, TBF. |

To be fair, these kids have a level of technical and tactical knowledge that we could probably only have dreamed of at their age because of these games. I can just about hold my own as I've been playing Championship/Football Manager for nigh on 30 years now, but I must admit when my 10 year old starts throwing out stuff about raumdeuters, liberos and trequartistas all I want to do is crack him round the back of the head 😂 |

See there are quite a few mentions of Lucas Joao.
Surely even with what I think is only 1 year left on his contract he would be out of budget if not from a fee point of view (Reading are in trouble) but definitely wages.
Happy with Boyle and REG coming back will be like a new signing and with Pearson, Lees and Deeper lying Hogg there isn’t much needs doing at the back.
Most work would need to be in midfield particularly if LOB leaves which seems certain… I also think we need a Right back as whilst Turton was most improved… I’d have him as back up and look to potentially cash in on Pipa who went from being one of our best to being one of our least good players last season.
