Media reporting we are trying to sign him on a season long loan. Bit of a Beast if we can get a good pre season into him. Thoughts ?

There were flashes of an extremely intelligent, skillful player in there towards the end of his loan.
If he stays fit all season he could be the difference between a productive midfield and the stoic, hard to break down, but unexciting midfield we had last year.
I hope!

Should take less time to "bed in" then other signings, in theory.

Not convinced he has the physical capabilities to deal with the demands the type of football we play requires.

Thought he did really well in a couple of the cameo appearances he made against West Brom & Coventry.
I'm sure a fully fit & firing Tino would be an asset to any team in the Championship.

Like us to take Vale and Anderson then add a striker. Think that would give us a much better strike force and we could forget about LOB and HT.

Going against the grain a bit but I thought he was nothing special and was off the pace in every game apart from against Coventry. I think his reputation has got quite inflated among our fans as he's a 'what might've been' player. It wouldn't be the worst thing to bring him back though, he knows the club, has a point to prove at this level still, and I can't see Holmes and Rudoni offering everything we need in that number 10 role.

To be honest i see a good few midfielders ahead of him IF we can get them.

Even at the end of his time with us, it was clear that just wearing football boots caused him a lot of discomfort. Must be hard to give of your best in those circumstances even though he was clearly trying. A frustrating time for us and him.
If he's finally got over his injury, I'm sure that he would be a fabulous addition to our squad. Here's hoping 🙏.

Based on 10 minutes against Coventry then maybe. Based on the rest of his appearances he was about as effective as Mipo.

A fit Anjorin would walk into probably 20 of the 24 teams in our division.

Not a chance wages too high would be the highest earner at the club by some distance.

Don't get the fascination to be honest.
If we had signed a young lad from Cheltenham on a free and he'd given the same performances we saw from Anjorin, the club would've been getting absolute pelters.

I don’t think he had chance to show us what he can do - the fact he’s one of the top prospects in Chelsea’s academy shows he’s no mug and has bags of potential, which you probably wouldn’t get with a cheltenham free transfer

Tino would need to prove he has got fitter and is ready to be involved most weeks, ability yes let’s take him but he didn’t have 30mins in him last season we can’t take him without knowing he is fully recovered and much fitter. He want one of the 2 loans signings I was told about but maybe something changed or this is in addition.

At least with Tino we will have a good idea of what we are getting for our outlay. Presumably our medical people will be able to give a view on what can be expected.
