I've high hopes for Kian Harratt ( He was compared to a young Billy Sharp by a previous manager and is already a bit of a handful for defenders, even though he's only just 20.). If he gets game time at Braford and continues to develop he may just be back in time for the second half of the season.

The squads not in bad shape, cant we be looking for a first choice "cherry on top" striker....... not a kid or loan (not saying they cant workout)
We've just taken 10m. We dont need to/nor would anyone expect us to spend a majority of that, but it shouldn't be ridiculous to think we could spend say 2m of that on a striker thats just ready to take off in the team we've built. An Adebayo type
Ward did great and can play a part still but I just cant see it being the same again

We need to bring in a proper striker and not continue with a makeshift striker. To not invest in a striker while we have just taken in £10m would be criminal. Nobody is saying let’s spend the whole lot on a striker, but traditionally they are the position that costs the most and we have two aging strikers and Philips(no guarantee he succeeds) and Harratt(out on loan). We can’t rely on Harrett making the grade and at worst if he does, we have another option. A couple of million can get us a really decent striker with potential. Look at Grant, £2m and flipped him 18 months later for £15m.

If we’re looking primarily at a young striker from the prem on loan then I have a few potential options we should be looking at.
Arsenal: Folarin Balogun, was on loan in the champ last season, unlikely to get much game time behind Jesus and Nketiah.
Aston Villa: Cameron archer & Keinan Davis Both were class in the champ last season and don’t think they’ll get a look in behind Watkins and Ings.
Brentford: Forss He has a great MPG and won’t get regular game time in the prem.
Brighton: Deniz Undav, Signed for them in jan and he went back on loan, looks prolific, not sure he’ll be there main striker in the prem though.
Crystal Palace: Luke Plange, looked good when coming through at derby, only 19. Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, think he’s more of a winger but scored for fun in prem 2 last year.
Everton: Ellis Simms of course, mentioned him a few times, Nathan Broadhead, loaned to Sunderland second half of last season and did really well, they’ll probably buy him though.
Leeds: Joe Gelhardt, think he was linked with us before? Won’t get a look in in the prem.
Leicester: George Hirst, 15 in 46 for the cowleys last year. With good service he could be a great addition.
City: Liam delap, wanted by prem clubs so unlikely. Oscar Bobb, lesser known than a few at city but 7 goals and 10 assists in the u23 last year, more of a winger though.
United: Charlie McNeill, scored over 600 goals for city at youth level, then moved to United and kissed the badge after scoring against city, shithouse. doing well in Uniteds youth teams. Only 18.
Newcastle: Santiago Munoz. GOAL!
Twigs: Surridge, he’d be a good addition, still only 23. Might not want the move though.
Spurs: Troy Parrott, didn’t do much at millwall but then had a decent season an MKDongs last year, might be ready for the champ now. Dane Scarlett, only 18, played a few times for the first team.
West Ham: Armstrong Oko-flex, apart from a great name, scored 13 in prem 2 last year. Mipo Odubeko: 👀 there’s defo a player in there and we were willing to part with £1m for him at one point.

The striker we bring in is going to make or break our season, Needs to be a top signing and we need a bit of luck. Need someone with the impact leon Knight had, 25+ goals required, at championship level. With Sorba supplying the Ammo premier league teams are actively wanting to get their strikers at Town, just requires us to choose the right one.

KH dad has said that there is a financial penalty to Bradford if he doesn't play a set number of games (I believe around the 30 mark). He'll defo be playing plenty therefore.

Would anyone take Andy Carroll on a free (don’t all hound me at once) Certainly different to what we have but he's injured so often, very much dependent on what he'd want for wages too. I'd definitely consider it though.

Would anyone take Andy Carroll on a free (don’t all hound me at once) No! If we weren’t willing to be in for Mooy, I don’t want this guy here. I’m sure he will be wanting big wages to help his retirement fund. Absolute dirty prick of a footballer too.

I saw this stat a when we signed Rudoni
Interesting that we were linked to Simpson. Also I personally wouldn't mind Troy Parratt for a season on loan. Then go back in for Simpson next summer when he's out of contract (which is what we did with Kasumu)
