I've heard rumours that Neil Warnock has become the new manager don't know how true the rumours are but hoping it's true.

The rain was pouring down through a hole in the roof on me head the whole game. BUT... I had had the best fish n chips ever before the game, so I wasn't too angry. Are you sure you were there? It was 10-1 not 10-0. |

I was there that day, remember behind the away end being flooded before the game. Totally got piss wet through, but if my memory serves me right behind the goal there was no roof. |

I too was there, my recollection is there was a bit of a roofed area but not big enough for everyone to get under. |

I wouldn't be against him joining in a advisory role to DS though

My sister went that day as she had a friend in Shrewsbury. A steward let her into the main stand. She was told that the game only went ahead due to Police pressure. They didn't want 2000 Town fans in the pubs if the game was called off. |

Cheers mate" If we lose tomorrow, I wouldn't be shocked if a conversation was had after the game. Stranger things have happened and Colin does love to dip in and out of retirement. Whether I would want him is a different matter, but I think he would guarantee our Championship status. Something I don't see under DS |

I too was there, my recollection is there was a bit of a roofed area but not big enough for everyone to get under. There was a small section of roof, but it was in terrible shape, the hole right above us was funneling the water into a stream. You were better off not under it. |

It would make a great deal of sense to bring in Warnock even as a part-time advisor / mentor to DS, and also to help motivate the players.
He probably doesn’t want a full time role, enjoying retirement, but still may want something to get the adrenaline going.
And from Hoyle’s perspective it’ll help to protect his own financial interests by stopping the club plummeting into Div 3

Listened to Colin last week on BBC podcast with Chris Kamara & Ben Sheppard, he was in good form. They asked whether he finally retired. He said yes, until the nect desperate Club contacts him January 2023!
