One thing I noticed right at the end of today's training video, the new boss says he's impressed with how Sorba acts with the younger players and wants the team to follow his example and back each other up Yep. One thing that I remember from his first half season was that his attitude was bang on. Hence the huge improvement between when he signed and then when he became a first team regular. He needs better support. Both online and from the stands. I get the feeling that he would appreciate it, but also that we'd get that back in the form of the superb performances that he has shown himself capable of.

Reasonable and self critical but still optimistic in the press conference today. Can't fault a word he said and he's maybe more articulate than I've previously given him credit for!

I'd be incredibly surprised if the club hasn't warned him he needs to do some serious image protection. He was wheeled in this press conference for a reason after the recent twitter activity/videos from after the game. Of course he knew what to say. He'll of been informed. A shame his attitude in a conference isn't backed up by his attitude and seeming abundance of ego and petulance on the pitch. Knuckle down.

Accusing someone of petulance on the pitch is a bit much from someone calling himself Efe Sodje 🤔

We need to remember something with Sorba. Less than two years ago he was playing non-league. Since then he's risen several divisions, playing international football with Gareth Bale and reaching Wembley. Everything was going swimmingly for him for 18 months and now they're not. He's young, has had to deal with a lot of change and a lot more scrutiny. With the right man management he'll come good - let's also remember he's had 3 coaches in as many months.

I thought he put some decent crosses in during the second half....rhodes and ward really didn't do enough..so far this season we are seeing the old Danny Ward..and Rhodes isn't doing enough.

Him scoring a goal or two or supporting someone else who has the ball or is trying to win it, might help. We cant afford a 'special teams' set piece player.

Needs to up his game, or lower attitude or fook off basically if he doesnt want to be at Town.

The team is weaker this season & not performing anywhere near where it should be. Sorba was an unknown last season & now he’s been recognised as our most dangerous player & is marked accordingly- to say nothing of the apprentice PE teacher playing on the left mostly, not the right where he mostly played season. Poor, confused coaching from Schofield has created this problem (although admittedly Sorba has been a bit of a prat at times this season)

Most of what I have seen says more about some of our fans. agree completely. Extra scrutiny in general as one of the 3-4 big players last season still here (par for the course, but a too readily criticising his attitude for my liking), plus what I could only call harassment from a particular online subset of fans

Thomas has never been amazing in open play. I thought he struggled a lot last season to make things happen from wide but his set piece delivery made up for it.
I dont think he's playing much worse but he's in a side which is doing far worse and nearly all the players are devoid of confidence which clearly isn't helping.

I agree and I don't see someone not trying at all, I see someone incredibly frustrated with how everything is going this season. If Sorba was our only issue this season I would be delighted, given how things are at the moment

Off form, lack of confidence, bad attitude, one season wonder....
Take away his contributions to goals for this season and Town are in an even bigger mess.

Played on the right and looked far more comfortable for it. Only taken us 11 games to figure that one out!

All three goals came as a result of Thomas corner kicks. Oh, but, wait a minute... he's shit...

So many fans too quick to try write off a player who has lost his form. He's not sh*t, clearly from what he achieved last season, he's a top player and last night that player returned. Lets hope Jon Russell can regain his form and fitness and start to show once again what he showed us last season.

Yes, he had his moments last season, but we all know why that was (LOB). Even last year he was lax and slow; the old joke about turning slower than the Ark Royal has always been fairly applied to him. I don't think that we'll see him back in the first team any time soon.

Thomas currently joint top assister in the league alongside Chair with 5.
If he added goals to his game he'd be worth alot of money.

He’s been told by Bromby & Hoyle to shank those chances he’s had this season… 😉 He had to deal with some wayward passes to him last night. He can’t do much of his team mates kick it into touch.
