Do think a Warnock team playing with Thomas and Koroma on the wings and a pacey striker through the middle would cause havoc .
All those writing Thomas off need to give their heads a shake . Was fantastic two seasons ago and whilst he underperformed last season , name me a town player who did between august and march ….

Sorba Thomas was our top assister last season, despite playing no part after January. I think that says a lot about our squad.

Itk people have said he wasn't popular with the other players. Lees nearly came to blows with him because of his attitude. It was more than just his on field performances. I know they were all rumours, but the people that said it are reliable sources. The whole social media thing arguing with people on twitter didn't help him either. Factor in the minority of morons who were chanting 'Sorba is a Paedo' and it will have been a tough time also for Sorba. Letting him leave on loan was the correct decision at that moment in time. Clean slate needed both ways. The fans to Sorba and Sorba to the fans.

I think he is a warnock type of player. Everyone deserves a second chance. Give him a second chance for me.
But.
He has stop with the ego. The only way we compete is as a team. Look at koroma, the sliding tackle at Millwall, his work rate, his desire all things that warnock brought out of him. That has to be Sorba’s aim.

He'd be my sixth choice striker looking at the current squad.

Yeah but Warnock. He'll turn him in to Andy Booth after 7 days in Cornwall

Sorba Thomas was our top assister last season, despite playing no part after January. I think that says a lot about our squad. This is my main concern too. We were severely lacking in creating chances last season & while NW worked wonders in keeping us up,I just can't understand why people are so confident we won't be in a relegation battle this season, if we don't improve massively as an attacking force.

Because they seem to think that Warnock can work miracles over a 46 game season with a very poor squad.

Without 3 or 4 first 11 new signings, we will be in the lower third of the table. Can see us being solid and hard to break down, but going forward won't offer much and that will be our downfall. We will lose a lot of games 1-0 if we do not address our striking and wide options.

His assists record is crazy all things considered 2 assists in his last 27 starts since being picked for Wales? (and no goals for the entire season) - its definitely crazy alright. He's broken - we likely already witnessed his best, it often happens to those that join professional football later, that they go up a meteoric rise riding the , then they just blow up. By way of comparison, Koroma bagged 3 goals and an assist in his last 8 outings!

With NW at the helm the risks of keeping him are manageable. If he comes back with his billy big balls attitude, Warnock won't stand for it. But if eh comes back wiling to engage with NW's process then he's a hell of an asset.
It's a no brainer for me. Keep him unless a ridiculous figure is offered. Which is unlikely.

We had no CBs comfortable in possession, no CM that can control a game and no CF that is great at holding it up. From that, we were always gonna suffer possession-wise. Really hope we don't scrimp on a first choice CM, who can dictate play, and a CF that has a bit more to his game. Get those two players right and I reckon we're a totally different proposition.

Sorba could be class under Warnock. Really think if anyone is going to get a tune of out of him it's NW. His assists record is crazy all things considered With his set piece delivery he can get you a goals in games that are a stalemate, I know he can be hard work but I hope he sorts his head out under Warnock he's a great weapon in this league. If he turns up with a face on and doesn't show the work ethic NW will get rid straight away.

I’d play him as a right wing back. That’s where he made his breakthrough and was superb (pre Xmas 2021/22 season). It’s only since then that he’s been pushed further upfield and he’s become less effective. For me, he lacks the skill and finishing to play in a front three but he’s not bad picking the ball up from deeper position and whipping crosses in; the wing back role allows him to do this more easily.

The only problem with that is that he has no idea how to make a tackle and his defensive positioning is awful.

Any news on whether he reported today? Any images of him in training? He's there but he's not smiling. Or at least not for the camera at the split-second the picture was taken.
