My gut tells me he will move on this summer but I'll be happy if he stays. He was putting too much pressure on himself with us, you can't play football like that at any level of the game, thumping the ground every time things don't go your way.

verifiedfootballupdate.com/what-neil-warnock-told-sorba-thomas-after-huddersfield-town-return-and-wales-omission/?fbclid=IwAR29vf9zQ2XvRqY8_MDMugozFQfcARg-QMbEHBHANK_lYCr-DFokW_G4-CkThomas is now back at the John Smith’s Stadium and keen to show he can still be the kind of hugely effective influence he has been during his better spells at the club, however. He had been crucial in helping Town unexpectedly reach last year’s play-off final, and started last season with seven assists in 14 games.
“For me, I was always the same player,” Thomas told the club’s YouTube channel. “I feel like I was beating myself up a bit more and there was a bit of [instability].”
Thomas reiterated that he will be more selective about whose advice and criticism he listens to this season, but one person he is enjoying learning from is his new gaffer Warnock.
The winger added: “He tries to be a bit strict with me at times but we all know what he’s like. Off-season he’s been talking to me and showing how much he rates me as a player. It’s only a bonus for me really.
“Him and Ronnie [Jepson, assistant manager], I’ve got a good relationship with both of them now, and for me it’s just about showing him why he should put me in the team week in week out. He’s kind of just told me ‘just believe in yourself more’, and it’s kind of the same thing: focus on myself and focus on helping the team however I can.”

That's from the interview from Saturday on the club YouTube channel . Interesting that he talks about "listening to outside influences " on more than one occasion

I expect those influences are different when you have vested interests being part of your clique, young shithouse agents etc. telling these kids they’re the next Gareth Bale… Remember Gazza’s mates? What a bunch they were, not sure if he ever grew out of it really. Hopefully Thomas comes back during this season, it’ll be a bonus if we can get back to being a significant threat at setpieces.

Doesn't do himself any favours does he Is this another thing that is getting twisted? I can only see the pic as I do not have twitter. But does it say anywhere about the comment being about a commercial flight? Looks to me Sorba is focusing on what Helik is doing. Helik being captain, sorba ripping into him and having banter about whatever Helik is doing on his laptop?

Just the flight safety sheet in front and a player on his phone messaging someone. I can't see anything else in the image for him to be laughing at, bar the plane. Also, as you're not viewing on twitter and viewing from this thread, that's only about 60% of the shot. So the centre of the shot is not the phone in front, but actually above to the middle of the plane.

If this is genuine I would get rid of him the bloke is a clown. Didn’t do us any harm when he wasn’t about last season, send him to league one because that’s probably his level. Had he been any good blackburn would have tried to keep him.

Had he been any good blackburn would have tried to keep him. Agree. Would happily sell and use that money for 1/2/3 players. However, I don't think anyone would want him, and even then not for a decent fee. Which speaks a lot about his ability, attitude and form since the playoff season.

Agreed and let’s be honest probably 75% of his assists were set pieces which are very important don’t get me wrong but I think more credit to Carlos for the variation in moves we used to create space for the chances. Set pieces were awful yesterday, admittedly the wind didn’t help. Move on and be done with him.

I thought it was one of them little tablets to watch stuff on. If it is true, get rid. No time for players like that. Lucky to even get a commercial flight after that performance.

It's probably a half an hour flight, what does it matter if it's commercial or not? You're barely in the sky before you're landing again anyway.

Suuuurely he’s not complaining at it not being a private jet. I don’t think it’s fair to automatically assume that with 0 context. It doesn’t look good mind 😬

The guy needs humbling so badly. I genuinely cannot believe this is the same man who was at Boreham Wood in non-league less than 3 years ago. Where has this ego come from? You’d think he was from La Masia the way he acts.

I like Sorba and feel he gets unfair criticism but if that is a public criticism of the club for using a commercial flight then he’s a prick and he ought to be leaving the club with Ronnies boot under his arse. I’ve no idea whether using commercial flights is normal or not for a championship club but if it’s not then I can understand players having a whinge. What can’t be condoned is doing it in public and if he has to be honest you have to question the lads intellect. Town fans sat in coaches and cars for 8 hours or more to watch that unprofessional dross must have loved seeing that post pop up. Wouldn’t care but wasn’t he getting sacked from sports direct relatively recently, ffs you’d think he’d have some humility.

Heard Mumba and Sorba walked back to Huddersfield, though Sorba made it back several hours after him.

The more I hear and see about him the more bemused I am, both about his behaviour, and how on earth Corberan had the man management skills to keep that in check

I'm interpreting that tweet quite differently. It has to be tongue in cheek. The guy grew up in non league football. The majority of football fans don't do subtle but that's quite clearly tongue in cheek. Cant be anything else

Not sure where he posted it but certainly reads like he thinks the club are a joke for using commercial flight and didn't think anyone outside of his mates would see it. Was it a Snapchat?

Whilst Thomas' comment is tongue in cheek fairplay to the club for using a commercial flight and not chartering a private flight, one less flight in the air polluting with aviation fluid.

Cant be anything else I'm unsure about him and don't think he helps himself but I agree I think the fact he's flying to a game rather than coaching to it is what he's getting at. I could be wrong obviously but so could everyone that's immediately taken it the other way.

Regardless of the context it's stupid to post something that COULD be taken a different way to the actual meaning, especially as a large percentage of the fan base already have it in for him.
Lad gave a great interview a few weeks back and should be keeping his head down and proving his doubters wrong.
A silly move and hopefully he will pulled up about it by those at the club that are there to look after stuff like this.
