Hardly helpful is it? Or funny. You were saying about dickheads on Twitter. If you aren't part of the solution, you are part of the problem. Shame about the fat-shaming, but generally it worked for me. I found it quite cathartic. I live in a very small Welsh town and everybody knows I'm a Huddersfield Town fan, and I feel that the locals judgement of me, albeit unconscious and to a very small degree, is somehow coloured by whoever Town's manager is at the time. I found it difficult when whingey Lee Clark and half the cast of Brookside were running things, but since then it's been OK. Chris Powell was a hit with the Guardian readers and David Wagner, being Klopp's Bezzie, raised my status amongst the many local Liverpool fans. But this guy....... kinell. The loud-mouth, blustering Billy big Bollocks aggression is something I really don't want to be associated with, and the sooner he's gone the better, as far as I'm concerned. If his nemesis turns out to be Johnny Hogg then that would be beautiful poetry. Hoggy's proper hard. He can kill, skin and cook a Swedish elk with one hand AND recover from a broken neck in three days. If we are not careful the chanting will start and the younger lads if not all of em, will be frightened to death to touch the ball. If we really believe we could influence the game and the team then perhaps shitting on ourselves isnt the best idea? As we are now bottom there is only one way to go now or the season will just get worse.

Yuta was part of the team that kept a clean sheet against Hull & played really well. Makes one mistake against Rotherham the next game, gets shat on in the media by his manager & dropped for the game after. He then plays a RB at LCB. How many times has Lees been at fault for goals conceded this season? He was literally marking nobody for the goal yesterday. Will he get dropped? No, Fotheringham praised him in the same presser when he outed Yuta even though he was ball watching & lost his man for the first against Rotherham. MF is utterly clueless & a hypocrite.

If you lose Hogg you’ve lost dressing room - needs rectifying as that’s not a sustainable position

Agree with your points The Lees marking nobody bit - I’m assuming that’s a deliberate tactic rather than Lees lost man etc, I don’t like it but guessing theory is we’re protecting the six yard box …. But one decent ball over and their centre half has a big advantage being marked by Camara… easy

If that was indeed the tactic then we'll concede loads from set pieces this season.

After years of Sterling service including playing again just days after sustaining a serious neck injury ( Bristol City ) and being a part of a PL midfield where he allowed the clubs best ever player ( Mooy) to flourish, if the rumours are true, the club must surely step in and sort the problem.
Hogg is a very special case - please don’t let his final years be tainted and destroyed by this turmoil.

The lad who scored was being marked by camara ..... badly! The rovrum goal stemmed from kasumu giving the bloody ball away - something hes been better at than getting booked and thats saying something! Cant disagree with the lees analogy though - im not against calling out poor play or players per se - but if you do it you have to be consistent and not do it repeatedly. MF is a dead man walking for me - lose badly on sat and i think hes on v thin ice. A bad result the week after and a poor home crowd (which is likely with a loss at boro) and that will be it imho.

In a nutshell. Lots of posters complain about square pegs in round holes and I think a right back at left centre back, when an international left sided defender is relegated to the bench, is a pretty good example. You have to ask why? Yuta is no inexperienced player. He's played 215 club games and 17 as a full international for Japan. How does MF drop someone with that pedigree, for apparantly one mistake, and throw him under the bus in a media interview, and replace them with a right back? What sort of man management is that? For me that is just shifting the blame. We lost but it wasn't because I couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery, it's because I didn't have Matty Pearson heading a cross away. Just that Japanese guy with a name too difficult for me to remember. If that is not ringing alarm bells in the Town boardroom then they, and unfortunately us, are lost.

We cleared the ball at Rotherham but at least 4 players stayed in. A speculative ball back in, drop of the ball and a goal from a few yards. Thats a joint venture fault in my book. If you dont HAVE to be there, dont be there. If you make a mistake dont let your unneccessary starting position make it more likely to br fatal. Shout your head off at everyone and work all week to make sure its drilled into the team because everybody has to get out.

Lees and one other (can’t recall now, may have been Ward or Rhodes?) were free and both spaced out on the edge of the six yard box. The rest picked up the stacked PNE players at the edge of the box.

Irony (right word? wrong word?) is that we could have done with Nakayama the other night.
I'm still not 100% convinced with his defending but his movement for the goal he scored against Stoke was outstanding and was sorely missed when Thomas put a couple of excellent corners in.
