But what you do learn from this is that Jan Siewert obviously had the badges to manage us in the Premier League, so realistically it means absolutely bugger all.

The Germans have a big push to get their coaches through to UEFA Pro and help them progress...I don't know if its still true, but I did read a few years ago that they have more Pro license holders working in football than any other country in Europe.

I had it when I was in my early twenties. I recovered in a few weeks but I know people who have been really ill with it and it has taken months. We will have to see how he progresses.

God no, not another board! It’s not as if there’s a million topics to talk about regarding our team. Better management and immediately dealing with new threads on an existing player/topic would make it easier for all.

I have no real idea as to why there’s a separate board for transfers, it’s not as if we’re Forest with 20+ incoming signings to talk about 🤦🏻‍♂️

I want Hogg back but we all know he's getting older and slower and we need to have replacements ready - this spell is allowing others to learn the trade and hopefully Hogg will provide more guidance when he is back.

Was it Lynch who didn't respond well to an increased training intensity when Wagner joined? or am I getting my periods in time wrong?

Yes, it was Lynch and Vaughan, although with Vaughan it transpired that it was more the intensity that he and the coaches decided would be too much for him unfortunately with his injury record.

Dunno, the story I heard about Vaughan was that he flatly refused to do any 'extra curricular' stuff like community visits, fan groups etc, so if true that might tie in with him not getting on board with extra training sessions and being dumped on a Swedish island.

Suppose if others were at events where Vaughan was there, then that would blow that rumour out of the water.

Yeah I heard that about the community work as well, but I'm sure I've seen pics of him handing out gifts in a hospital, but maybe that was from his days at Everton or Norwich before he came to us?

Lynch openly admitted he didn't like football, he just did it because he was good and paid well.

Wagner did have a ruthless streak, he bombed out Jason Davidson after Davidson had criticised Wagner in a foreign newspaper while he was out on loan. Once he returned, Davidson was bombed out and not even given a squad number for the following season.

You are right about Lynch. He put in a transfer request at the end of the 15/16 season.
