I would 100% rather Leeds stay up than Notts Forest. The worst fans I’ve ever come across. let’s see how they get round FFP if they go down. Going to cost them millions. Come on Karma….. This time last year you'd have been laughed at for that comment. 18 months ago they weren't even on our radar. And yet, I'm in complete agreement. Obviously I want them both to drop, but if I had to pick one to stay up, it would be our friends from the skip.

I agree, but I am also intrigued how Leeds would deal with relegation financially. They've spent £35 million on a bag of shit striker and yesterday have been ordered to pay £25 million to a bloke who played 3 games on loan for them a few years ago...

Seems to me, Leeds and forest will be financially doomed so happy for either to go down both absolute scum clubs.

Pleeeeease Maybe it's just because of how local they are, but I've met far more Leeds fans who are genuinely nice people who just happen to support a shite club. I'm sure there are a few Forest fans who are the same, but they definitely keep a low profile compared to the arseholes.

Town to avoid relegation, forest & the white shite drop into the Championship with Sadford getting beaten in the League 2 play off final would be the ideal scenario. All are very much possible.

Nottingham Forest have sounded out Argentine manager Jorge Sampaoli as a replacement if Steve Cooper is sacked. (Mail)
From winning the world Cup to managing in the Championship 🤔

In this situation, both dropping would be fantastic. But for a lot of us, the way they won the play off final was a disgrace. The celebrations and chanting about VAR took the absolute piss. Their fans were dead beat moronic arseholes. And last of all they thought they were Billy big bollocks who would get top 6. Forest to be relegated would be hilarious.

I wonder if it just means he's Argentinian then, rather than the manager of Argentina 🤔 Edit : just checked, Sampaoli is that bald headed maniac with full sleeve tattoo on both arms. He's managed both Chile and Argentina.

I started watching Town in 1991 and prior to that we'd played 22 league games against Bradford, ever. 11 of 83 seasons in the same league. Yeah we then had a decade or so of them trying to turn it into a major rivalry, their owner being an antagonistic bellend and them often being better than us. And since then...back to normality, nigh on 2 decades of them being 1, 2 or even 3 leagues below us. Compare that to a history of playing Leeds bar the 90s, the history involved in 'them' almost stealing the club from Huddersfield, them spending the first 15 years of their existence playing in our kit, and most of all the massive crossover of fans that exists in the Heavy Woollen District, which contributes a big % of Towns fanbase. I dont think there is anything like the same crossover anywhere between Town fans and Bradford fans. Losing to Bradford is annoying. I hate nothing more than losing to Leeds and I think its fair to say that applies to most town fans, especially ones from north Kirklees.

I don't particularly like Bradford but Barnsley is a bigger derby than them, for me.

Whilst we had a rivalry of sorts with City, particularly in the mid 90s and mid 2000s when we played more often than preferable, the rivalry was nowhere near as intense as with L@@ds. You barely see any City fans in Hecky/Sedge, only when you get to Cleck do you start to bump into some, which is where Town support seems to end.

Literally nobody I ever came across supported Bradford, and I was at school when they got promoted to the Prem! Anyway to get back on topic, I thought I 100% wanted Forest down until they lost to Leeds the other week and I was fuming. Could the dream of them both going happen? Let us pray.

EG since 93 when I started attending regularly it's been Sadford who have been in and around us so have become our fiercest rivals to THAT era of fans. The only reason I despise L***s more than Shitty is because of dad and sis being chestwankers, otherwise I'd probably say Sadford were our main rivals. But everyone I know who became a Town fan prior to the 90's seem to cite L***s as the bigger rivals. I think it depends which team the individual fan grew up seeing us play against, with additional factors (like my dad's side of the family) swaying things either way. Edit: Just to say my hatred of L***s was also nurtured by three of my uncles, who all started going in the late 60s early 70s when Sadford were barely a blip on the radar.

Personally, experiencing both numerous times, the atmosphere, tension etc always seems to be greater when we play Bradford. Well it does for me anyway. I hate them both obviously, my comments probably seemed a bizarre.

Felt a bit weird when we started playing Leeds again in late noughties having not played them in league for twenty years. Bradford was deffo main rival for me having started going regularly in mid 90’s. Think where you grew up is important too. I’m from HD8 so have always enjoyed games against Barnsley, but never really considered them a rival and like to see them do well. For their antics pre and post play-off final though, Forest are my least favourite team by a distance currently. Did enjoy my trip to the City Ground in December 2000 when we thumped them in front of a full house (was £5 a ticket night). Also pretty ignorant of them to be singing we’d never been on the telly around 2007 when we’d hammered them on Sky in the Bruce era. Think we were 4-0 down after about twenty minutes though so can forgive them for being a bit excited. Really hope we are playing them again next season.
