No idea about this bloke but,the last couple of months have been shite both on the field and off it.This appointment isn't going to get bums on seats anytime soon unless we start picking up points as of saturday,big ask!!
What I think we all know is going to happen is that Bromby or Deano are going to make a statement once this deal is done and say he was the best candidate of the lot,probably the cheapest option not the best maybe.Anyway we don't get a say in it we just have to wait and see.

Do people think Dean Hoyle got to be as successful in life as he has been by being a moron? |

Cheap cheap cheap how r we spending 5 million a year from DHs pocket we must be the lowest spending club in this division.. We literally do everything on the cheap. I’ve not felt as deflated about my club since I was a kid. Which manager would you have preferred we spend a few million bringing in... who would come and manage us ?? If this is anywhere near the most deflating times you can remember supporting town, you should be doing your homework, not wasting time on here!  Bore off you sad man. I’ve spent enough time on here to know your the sad man who spends half his life on here pissing everyone off. All we have to go off is his CV and when you compare that to 2015 David Wagner who had played at the highest domestic level for a sustained period of time, capped internationally, won the UEFA cup, been a HEAD coach at an elite European club for 5 years (albeit the B side) but working under Klopp, MF's doesn't look too impressive in comparison. We have to get behind him and I wish him every success. I love an inflated CV. Head coach at an elite European club.. Dortmund reserves. capped internationally....8 caps for USA Won the UEFA cup,,,, was an unused sub in the 2nd leg of the final. Played at the highest domestic level for a sustained period... 30 appearances in the German top flight in his entire career. Even worse then given MF doesn't even get close to any of that. |

I wasn't averse to him coming back, I just looked at how he's gone on since leaving. Whoever gets the gig I wish them nothing but good luck, WE deserve some. |

Yes, some think there are queues of experienced managers at this level and above, all free and demanding to come here. Managers from lower clubs like Rotherham?  ?, need not apply etc. Failure for a football club isnt an option, given how many have bigger debts than the Govt. The fact that 3 will fail badly and about 6 or 7 will escape relegation but not their debtors or the tax man seems to evade some folk, who return each time to the money we HAD when we went up etc. They need an owner who will load more debt against the club and put his hand in others pockets to show his ambition to succeed? Success is no longer getting promotion as many clubs including us have discovered, surviving the next few years will be a success. The Premier League is paying enough tax and bringing enough into the UK for govt to forget about 'family clubs, hub of the community stuff' and clubs will go. I support the new head coach until it becomes clear he hasnt got a clue or those above are intefeering and we remain as we are. I also blame the players because systems dont stop hard work and once that goes whoever is making the decisions is fucked anyway. |

We were all excited as his background was with Klopp in Germany. Yes, Siewert didn't work, but he had all the egos that didn't want to be here, so I always cut him slack. Schofield, he is evidently a fantastic coach, but unfortunately, in the deep end with management. MF has worked with bigger personnel than DS so we can't even compare the 2. Heart is saying what on earth are we doing. Head is saying, this could be another master stroke. If appointed, nothing we can do about it apart from get fully behind him from the off, especially 1st home game V Hull, live on Sky. Negativity filters through. Yes, Wagner would have had it rocking, but us, the fans, can do that anyway whoever we put it charge. You talk as if our current chairman has a good track record of “master strokes” when the reality is he has a pretty poor record when it comes to appointing managers. |

Even sacking LC and bringing in SG was the right move. Just don't see the point in moaning about MF, not a lot we can do is there. |
