“Mark, why have you turned up for the Wigan pre match presser?” “ Listen, …. they made a mistake. I’ve not been sacked. I believe in this group of players. We are going there to win. I pick the team. The team picks itself.”

Just reading back my initial reservations about Mf and getting absolute dogs abuse from MelC, KennyK2, Morley Terrier and slapper. At one point I was compared to an amoeba because I said that corberan and MF were not cut from the same cloth. Absolutely outrageous and hilarious reading back the posts of these people

He can reapply to Cowdenbeath now with a million quid in his sky rocket Aye. He's had the last laugh.

I'm not happy he's gone, just even angrier that he was ever fucking taken on. Wagner was free, Wilder was free amongst many more that should have been considered before him.

I wonder what went on for the club to put out such a terse statement. Very unusual. However poorly the manager has performed there is normally a thanks for all your efforts. I don't suppose we will ever know but it is intriguing. I think they thanked him,but he wasn't Listening They probably didn’t start their sentences with ‘Listen’ so he was unaware of what was being said

He'll resurface abroad, probably in Germany. His press conferences are all over YouTube. No UK football club owner in their right mind would give him a gig after watching one.

Can you imagine being that rubbish at your job and still walking away with 6 figures, maybe 7. Football is ridiculous At least he only trashed the team not the economy. Liz Truss will get more than him for 40 days of utter madness. Now that is ridiculous.

Exactly, and bromby put himself before the club. Custodians. I could think of another shorter syllable beginning with C that might be more fitting.

Beauty of a form though; some look foolish with hindsight, some look like geniuses. Let’s hope this forum chirps up a bit now!

Listen, I'd be absolutely shocked if this charlatan gets the managerial seat at this level again. Squad ain't great but it's not bottom 3 stuff in the league I’d be amazed if he gets another managers job in professional football. Just as he hadn’t had a managers job at any proper level before he came to us. A bewildering appointment at the time and fans concerns shown to be right within a few months. I think most people in the game are still trying to work out A. Who the fuck he is and B. Why the fuck did a side who just got to a play off final put this random bloke in charge. I've had a look at the bookies odds for our next manager and I think they're being a bit too optimistic with the most likely next appointment. Can't see the likes of Wilder and Smith wanting it but I might be wrong. Either way we've got a chance to survive.

It might well be chirpy chirpy as long as things aren’t pointing to a cheap cheap replacement... Not sure what the reaction will be should it be a ‘Middle of the Road” type of guy !!! 😊

For me the Kenny Miller appointment was as bemusing as Buzz. I thought at the time why do town want Kenny Miller? And still thought that until today. He might be an nice guy who knows but it always perplexed me as much as appointing Buzz to start with.
Anyway time to move on, onwards and upwards! (Hopefully Bromby goes the same way🤞)

A bewildering appointment at the time and fans concerns shown to be right within a few months. Not to worry, he has his stellar career as an assistant at huge German clubs to fall back on. Expect to see him 2nd in command at Bayern or Dortmund shortly. Germany? Really? Where did he mention that he'd worked in Germany? This is fresh news.

What did you think he was brought in to do?

And I think good striker is a push 😂 maybe so in Scotland. Just didn’t make sense to me. Anyway like I say onwards and upwards

Jeez - I love ma oldies music songs - just heard two very apt songs on for today’s events - one for Foddy first followed by one for Brondby ! For Foddy - It was “The Carnival is over” For Brondby - “I know I’ll never find another you” The band The New Seekers and these songs were before my time but by Jove they were pure pure quality unlike who I’ve linked them to... Perhaps an omen in The New Seekers might be aligning to Town as in New Seekers looking for our new gaffer !!! Minor edit - The Seekers not The New Seekers who weren't around until the 70s and these two were from 1965 ish apologies for being a pedant. (but always enjoy your posts) Think with Buzz, more of a case of Mary J Blige "I'm Going Down" and but hopefully for Town, Curtis Mayfield "Move on Up" or M People "Movin On Up"

Judith Durham was an amazing singer. Probably one of my earliest memories is listening to her on the radio back in the mid 60s pre school age.. Her distinctive voice takes me straight back there.

I wonder what the financial difference is in paying off two managers against giving Corboran that same cash to buy who he wanted and some free reign ? Ooft. It’s too soon.
