There will be some smiles at the training ground today. There’s certainly a big bloody one down under where I am at the moment.

I wonder what went on for the club to put out such a terse statement. Very unusual. However poorly the manager has performed there is normally a thanks for all your efforts. I don't suppose we will ever know but it is intriguing. I think they thanked him,but he wasn't Listening Their own fault. They should have said, "listen" first.

I think they thanked him,but he wasn't Listening They probably didn’t start their sentences with ‘Listen’ so he was unaware of what was being said Damn. You beat me to it

No matter what the management say, MF was sacked for one incident where we concede a late goal. Had we won he would still be there.

I will answer that when the as yet confirmed Messia that many on here believe is due to arrive and win us matches every week arrives. You mean like Buzz was doing ? Town sack Buzz and then a few hours later Disney announce there's to be a Toy Story 5, methinks there's no coincidence here. Then they announce there's to be 7,000 redundancies, presumably to pay Town's compensation. Deano laughing all the way to the bank.

It's going to be interesting to hear "behind the scenes" revelations that come out now?

Knowing Town we've probably agreed to an NDA so there won't be any stories.

Jeez - I love ma oldies music songs - just heard two very apt songs on for today’s events - one for Foddy first followed by one for Brondby ! For Foddy - It was “The Carnival is over” For Brondby - “I know I’ll never find another you” The band The New Seekers and these songs were before my time but by Jove they were pure pure quality unlike who I’ve linked them to... Perhaps an omen in The New Seekers might be aligning to Town as in New Seekers looking for our new gaffer !!! The Seekers. New Seekers came later and were garbage. Judith Durham was an amazing singer. Probably one of my earliest memories is listening to her on the radio back in the mid 60s pre school age.. Her distinctive voice takes me straight back there. I remember the New Seekers coming to The Amsterdam {corner of Firth Street} everyone remember that? More their level

Or.. the fact he was crap You could nearly always say a manager was sacked for his last game Exactly, this is where the phrase the final straw comes from. I honestly thought they still wouldn't pull the trigger but when the Blackpool equaliser went in the only thing that made me feel a bit less shit was it might push the club to get rid. Wilder was at 6/4 last I saw but as shown with the odds they put on the Wagner return I don't trust them anymore.

I'm waiting for him to go out to 1/10 , then bang a couple of monkeys and a lady Godiva on him..

Saw Bernard Manning (it was acceptable in the 70s) a couple of times there . Saw Lenny Henry as an up and coming 17 year-old . Someone else , a shit comedienne from south Yorkshire, can't remember her name. The place used to be rammed Thurs , Fri , sat night , coaches full of women from all over the north..

Those successive wins over Xmas gace MF a lifeline and an opportunity to change the squad during the transfer window...Sadly 6 games later and no wins means we're stuck with what we've got and any new manager likewise. We've let Sorba go, we've brought in Vaclik when Bilo hadn't done anything wrong, and we still don't have a goalscorer despite the addition of Waghorn.. I hope whoever comes in can sort us out, get us playing to a plan that is more attack minded and play players in their strongest positions.

And Waghorn already earned us a point with a goal against QPR and left the pitch with us holding on to 3 points against Blackpool. If he can continue to score a goal every couple of hours, he'll be doing alright. Decision to let Sorba leave has removed an option - MAYBE he'd have been rejuvenated this week and when a new manager comes in - but it made sense at the time - especially if him leaving has had some influence financially on us being able to bring in Waghorn / Knockeart / Hungbo / Vaklik & Lowton. There's definitely a decent squad to work with.

Just reading back my initial reservations about Mf and getting absolute dogs abuse from MelC, KennyK2, Morley Terrier and slapper. At one point I was compared to an amoeba because I said that corberan and MF were not cut from the same cloth. Absolutely outrageous and hilarious reading back the posts of these people No change then.
