"The ability to lead and motivate our squad and staff was also high on the requirements for this appointment, and they are qualities that Mark exudes naturally. You feel it when you meet him..." BrainyQuotes dot com: Leigh Bromby Wow. That's a real quote?? It's from a book Bromby is currently writing, provisional title is: Hiring On The Spot

Word on the street is that Rangers are interviewing a scaffolder this afternoon for their vacancy. #YouHeardItHereFirst Please god, he gets that job. His ex Sevco assistant was on the radio today.

Can't see it happening, but who knows? They'll be skint after their summer spending spree and paying out for the Beale sacking. Miller is ex-Rangers, and MMF has shown he can bullshit his way into a job. He obviously has people in relatively high places who are willing to give him a reference, and he was hob-nobbing with Klinsmann at the recent Auld Firm match. Even if he doesn't get anywhere near the job, I bet he's deluded enough to apply for it.

The Gers fans are in foul mood just now and Fotheringham being appointed would literally see the walls fall in at Ibrox - Plus the fact that he played three games for Celtic pretty much rules him out as well... Miller might have a chance, he has dabbled with management but failed as well, however this Hibernian fan growing up has whored himself to Rangers publically but he also played a season for Celtic so who knows... But Miller has a whole plethora of media outlets employing him (Goodness knows how as he is an incoherent rambling wreck that just goes round in riddles contradicting himself) and it’s easy money without the stress of managing the club with probably the most demanding and entitled thinking support on the universe... Having said that Miller was a really dedicated football player that looked after himself fitness wise and gave his all to whatever club he was playing for and Scotland at International level as well !

The irony being every time someone posts to say this thread needs binning it moves back up the board

As if anyone would be dumb enough to employ that chancer. He couldn’t get jobs in Scotland’s third division before we took him.

We were dumb enough to stick with Corboran after his first season in charge here. At the time he had an almost identical points per game record as Fotheringham got. Just saying. Carry on kicking the dead dog..

You must have been screaming for Corboran to be sacked after his first season! We played some great stuff and scored some length of the pitch goals under him that season until the injuries kicked in. Did we ever actually play well under Buzz ?

Did we ever actually play well under Buzz ? for about 10 minutes against hull at home, his first home game . Apart from that i don't think it was much to write home about. Buzz learnt the lessson of, it doesn't matter what you want to do , if the players don't want to do it then they wont. Buzz tried to be a hard line gaffer, without the respect of those working under him, therefore it didn't work.

I seem to remember a few on here backing him up till quite late on
As soon as I saw him warming up with the subs at half time instead of giving a team talk, I knew he was ten bob short of a pound

Did we ever actually play well under Buzz ? We scored some great goals, unfortunately no one there to watch them live. FUnny thing with Corberan was after the bad run we never played like that first half of the season again, even though we reached play off.

Did we ever actually play well under Buzz ? We had some good performances under Fotheringham. I know people try and pretend we didnt, but we did. My memories of that first season under CC was him flailing his arms about on the touchline and the players seemingly not having a clue how they were supposed to be playing. It all seemed very confused and 3 wins in over half a season wasnt a surprise. We were lucky the season didnt go on any longer. Buzz also had to cope with a much worse injury situation than Corboran did that season. I cant ever recall a injury crisis like the one Fotheringham was dealing with.

Thread needs closing down pronto. It’s like a bad smell hanging around as a constant reminder of how utterly shite we were under Fotheringham and how utterly shite he was. The club was in the doldrums, a lot of talk about how the appointment had to be the right one. We started off with a team that finished third and sold off the speed and energy out of the first eleven and brought in players that needed time and help to graduate in to Championship players. In the end we managed to stay in the Championship. Now we have a new broom and we will see where it sweeps us.
