Oh I stand corrected. What a brilliant record. Started Schalke on a record run without a win and took a team that'd won the league 4 years on the trot to a finish 15 points behind the winners. But none of that matters cos he beat Utd again 🙄 Who would be your choice and what is their record ? I'd be interested in what the lad from Chelsea could do tbh. I'm not against Kaiser Dave coming back but his record since the Chelsea game has been poor at every club. The things he did with Town, training wise, that gave us an edge are now commonplace. If he can, even partially, repeat what happened before then great but I don't want to see it go tits up and spoil his legacy. |

I think it’s a bit naive to think what he did with us is now common place. I know what you mean when you say that, double sessions etc… but I think it’s more than getting them fit. I still think some of the psychological stuff around training for game times and team psychology are the things he can bring. It was and would be a holistic approach where you build a proper “team” that’s bigger than the sum of its parts. Considering our player resources currently, I think it’s pretty exciting. Let’s see. |

A 1 year deal allows him to keep us up and it gives us time to get a proper plan in place. He would also keep his legendary status this way, which I like you do not want tarnishing. |

There is still nothing happening with DW at this time, during the last 7days we have been discussing the role with a number of potential candidates. The process is taking time as we know how important it is to get it right this time.
CB being in the UK has increased the speculation on a DW return, honestly it’s a massive coincidence.
As for curry houses Bengal Aroma, Almondbury has to be considered tremendous meal there yesterday evening.
As for the mini budget, I was extremely happy with it got to get the higher earners spending again to kick start the economy, it was very brave and risky but maybe now is the time to take risks.

The only thing that will get higher earners spending is the end of the war in Ukraine. This token tax saving will just offset losses in investments, it won’t change spending habits imo. |

Had a chat with a contact to the club, Wagner is stuck in the middle of signing for another club, cannot do anything until his finances are sorted with his previous club.
This questions, the longer it goes on without appointing a new manager, the more likely the club are after Wagner, time will tell.

Always assuming it isn’t Wagner again next (who a large percentage of our support would appear happy with), any “2nd choice” will definitely have to win the fans over as there is no strongly favoured alternative. No immediate big lift either if it isn’t to be Wagner.
