If you weren’t there then you can’t possibly understand it.

A bit like you jumping on Wagners back nearly four years ago. You really have some hatred for the guy don’t you. I hope he does get the job just so you can wallow in your sad life! ??

]We were awful in the Premier league. The second season the club threw the towel in, great football wasn't it.
We are in the championship mate . Honest to god the dream for 50 years was to have one season in prem.. we had two fucking hell it’s more than just the football . The stadiums been toxic for years that season wasn’t just about the football the ducking atmosphere and buzz was great a team and club to be proud of a manager we hung on to every word . Even just for that I’d want him back . Even for a bit .

Again weif true, Lazy Management by Hoyle and Bromby bringing back a boring Coach in Wagner playing for the 1 moment in the game...😟 Nothing more wonderful than watching King Dave’s game management. Yes, play for the one moment and then close the game down. Only this time, with the added bonus of having the time wasting expertise of Mr Nicholls as well !

Didn't Wagner jump ship gang of 137 Are you really serious??? Does it Really matter what happens when you reach the promised land?? Name me one manager who is still in charge of a recently promoted club!! The gap is so huge it's unreal...teams worth 100,s of millions yet we are supposed to bridge the gap with 100 million!! We amazingly survived a season which is more than most clubs do Steve Cooper...is he all of a sudden a shit manager?? Because he will be out of work in the next month

Buhler returns to Germany on Tuesday so looks like it is a coincidence. Villa farm butcher who spoke to him Saturday at the farm shop is my source.

Nothing was worse to be honest, purely because pretty much every game I aged 20 years because of the nerves while trying to hold onto a 1 goal lead every game. Admittedly I'm not being serious about it basically being terrible, but I'm sure I actually have a few grey hairs already because of that season

Could we wait for Wagner if for one reason or another he can’t join until November? Could Chicho hold the fort? Or if that’s the case do we just move on?

Never felt like we were in great danger of conceding most games we were leading I wouldn't disagree necessarily, but at the same time constantly having a 1 goal lead heading towards the end of games does make you wonder as to how often we could keep holding onto those leads and winning

Chicho looks very confident and determined. He seems to love the club and I think he’d do a superb holding job whilst waiting for the master to arrive.

But it’s all a part of the togetherness that DW created. We won as a team ( DW, the players and the fans) We were all “involved” for the whole game - yes, it was nervy at times.

We were awful in the Premier league. The second season the club threw the towel in, great football wasn't it At Start December We were 1-0 up v Brighton prior to that red card - heading 14th That was after having just beaten Fulham home 1-0, drawn with West Ham home 1-1, won away at Wolves 2-0 7 points from 9, should have been 10 from 12 - It was anything but awful The following 5 weeks everything went wrong which could have done Agree after that it was awful & the club threw the towel in However bad it was we did not and I stress DID NOT sleepwalk to relegation!

I agree, everyone from top to bottom, the fans, players, everyone was together, and it helped create what we achieved that season.
Don't think anyone can deny that as a club, we had something special that season, and absolutely everyone throughout the club being together meant that, arguably, what we had was greater than the sum of the parts.

One of the best games we had in the champ was the 3-1 home win against Brighton who went up automatically. We demolished them.
We then hit 4 past Watford and Bornmuff in prem in 1st season. Far from boring..

Far from boring.. 100% agree re the Brighton game, we were on another level. I've said ever since that night that nobody in the league could have lived with us in the first half of that game. It was arguably the best 45 minutes I've seen us play.
