Im not sure but all 4 floodlight bases need updating and treating, the 4 arches probably need new coating, some of the seats need replacing, the toilets will need renovating soon, the turnstiles need modernising for barcode ticketing, no doubt the hospitality suites will need constant work, the stadium roofs will need another powder coat…it’s a long list and all costly work. Kilner Bank turnstiles work with barcodes. I use my phone with the QR code with no issues. Unstaffed turnstiles with automatic readers? |

so what are the 9 million quids worth of upgrades the stadium needs, does anyone know? Machinery, generators, boilers, repairs and maintenance. The energy efficiency rating of the stadium is one of the lowest you can get. Stick a few LED lamps in the floodlights, bit of rock wool in the rafters, job done… |

Upper tier in the Core stand its starting to drip from the roof think the stadium is starting to need big repairs longer they leave it the worse it will get and cost more, hopefully nagle can get the stadium and then he can do everything to fix it up right which he said is on his list of jobs to do if he can get it.

I noticed they painted the stantions of the floodlights I think they have painted the floor under the kilner too. Today I left Kilner via the "north" end.(normally I go "south". The block paving, that way, is suffering from awful subsidence. From the stand to beyond the turnstiles needs totally relaying. |

Well we now have changed sides for the pre match warm up, we have new speakers by the pitch and this e-bar thing for getting youre own beer was on trial other day and some one mentioned a lick of paint here and there, apart from that bugger all that i have seen or heard oh forgot to mention a big screen outside in the fanzone which had the leeds game on other day |

With KAL exiting the Stadium leisure centre, i'd imagine this is a prime opportunity for the club to take over the facilities. Don't think there's a pool down at canalside, which must be of benefit for the players.

It's only a metter of time before H&S come along and close one of the stands down...What we see as deteriorating is one thing, what we don't see so much is corroded support girders in the roofing or what's going on underground....
It's massively disappointing that KSDL chose to spend all their revenues on the ill fated HDOne project and ignore the stadium.. I remember years ago writing to KSDL about the corrosion, flaking paint etc.. 'All in hand' they said...

I know they used to up to the Prem days, but thought now everything was done at Canalside so they don't have to mix with the 'great unwashed'. |

Looking at the ones down the side of the pitch, it looked like they'd just been plonked into position and were just rattling sound into the front row, rather than being tilted up and throwing sound more effectively like they were every where else (and were in the South Stand last time). Reckon the people setting it up lost interest due to being rained on? |

Speakers were excellent in the Riverside Stand.
Great move to have the fans zone in my opinion although I’m not sure how many people will venture there when it’s raining.
The club are trying to improve things on and off the pitch and I’m pleased we are seeing these changes.

Weird how they can't get the speakers right from one game to the next. Seemed pretty decent against Rotherham but ridiculously loud again on Saturday.
