One shot just there showed quite a few empty seats. It’ll be interesting to hear the official attendance for the opening game of the WC. Normally a sell out you’d have thought. Maybe they’ve gone back to their £175 a night tents because someone has broken the code on the padlock? |

If they say "He should have scored that" or "He'll be disappointed watching that back" or "it's what we all expected" then you might has well have a nine-year-old as co-comm as even he can see that. Your post in this thread is literally a great example of how FIFA and other footballing powers have got us all because we love the game of football and even though we hate the bastards that run it for just about all they stand for we are gripped in their claws. You’re not interested but you still can’t stop yourself watching England. We are all suckered in in some small or large way or other and it might not be this tournament , I detest FIFA but will still watch the tournament, the premier league I dislike also nearly equally repulsive but football full stop keeps me interested. I one day would like to go to a World Cup , for my experience, fuck FIFA for me but Qatar for so many reasons was 100 percent a BIG NO for me. |
