Would love to get Nicholls back in goal asap, I think Vaclik is a great shot stopper but in other areas of Goalkeeping he is not as good as LN . Absolutely. He’s more than a keeper. Massive influence on the team. |

I think Vaclik has been very good, despite not being able to walk - he must have been some keeper in his time - however, Nicholls is easily one of the best in the Championship & I'd prefer him back for the run in, so long as he's not trying to force it back.

Time wasting? communication , Nicholls commincates better and also i would argue that maybe 3 goals TV has concded LN would have stopped . He jsut brings a calm prensce in goal aswell , there is something about Nicholls that TV just doesn't bring to the defence. |

I think that might be the issue. Also he has been out for a while so may not be first team ready. |

Depends on two factors for me: 1) Does the return of Lee Nicholls to the first team put his recovery at risk? 2) Has the long layoff affected his sharpness? If the answer to BOTH of those questions is "no", then Nicholls starting with Vaclik on the bench. If either of those is a "yes", then stick with Vaclik. After a slightly shaky start our Czech keeper has done well for us and for all that a fit and in-form Lee Nicholls is probably the best keeper we've had since I became a fan, I would also say that Vaclik is a very good keeper too. |

Cardiff 1st team keeper out. We absolutely need to do 100% due diligence on the Reserve goalie and see if he has any weaknesses that we can exploit to our advantage... I remember 32 years ago Aberdeen only needing a draw at Ibrox v Rangers to win the league in the final match of the season, but their goalie (Theo Snelders if I remember correctly) getting injured a day or two before the match and his replacement Micheal Watt was targeted by Rangers using their media allies to intimidate him about what was to come down the pipe to him in the impending game - Sure enough - Big Mark Hateley gave him a couple of early ‘dunts’ the guy became very nervous as the game wore on - Big Hately scored two - Aberdeen lost and with it lost the title... Now the Cardiff reserve goalie may well be a very able deputy and probably will, but anyway this is a critical critical match and hopefully our coaching and analystical division are on to this and can take advantage of any perceived weaknesses and make sure the starting XI and substitutes are aware of any findings as Every Little Helps ! 😊 |

Their backup keeper is Jan Alnwick (played for Rangers and Newcastle) so can't imagine he will be intimidated that easily.
