Ward Kasumu Turton Above I think all ruled out this week, not sure on Hogg and Yuta? Moore has stated that injuries to both Hogg and Yuta are not as bad as first feared and both will be assessed today. Suggests they might be in contention. Good news........They were engines at the weekend and would be massively missed, particularly with Kasumu and Turton also out.....fingers crossed

Maxwell Ruffels Pearson Harratt Jones Burgzog Ward
Is the above list correct? Also any admins out there......I have looked and seen at least two more threads on 'injured players' can we merge them and maybe have one as a 'sticky' to save the effort of multiple threads as this is also something that is regularly needing updating and checking?

But I'm not sure how, seeing as he hasn't really played a remotely competitive match for almost 18 months with his two injuries.

Scott High needs adding to the list as his loan at Ross County has been cut short so that he can compete for a place on the treatment table here.

Is it me or have we over the last few years, maybe more, always seemed to have at least half a team out due to injury? Are other teams ever in the same situation we always seem to find outselves at least once a season. Going down memory lane 1969/1970 season Town had 10 players who played in 40+ league games. Seven played in all 42 league matches. Frank Worthington even played all 42 leagues following season too. Lucky today if somebody gets a half dozen under the belt these days.

Without looking into it I imagine in the 60's and 70's most teams only used that amount of players, in terms of squad depth it would have been a much more level playing field. Worth noting that in Carlo's playoff season we only used 29 players with 10 of those making 40+ appearances. Last season we fielded 41 players with only two making 40+ appearances, which shows how bad our injury crisis was. This season despite a massive clear out, we've fielded 33 different players at just over the halfway stage.

Pretty sure it’s nothing unique to Town….imagine plenty clubs have same issues…..

Injuries are probably more visible nowadays because of squad sizes.
There was a time when no subs were allowed, then it was just numbers 1-12 on the match day team sheet, and it was always interesting on the occasion an outfield player had to don the gloves due a keeper injury.
Maybe players played through more marginal injuries in those days? It’s odd really, when you compare the bone rattling pitches of yesteryear with the bowling greens we see today. You’d think there would be less injuries, not more.
Maybe the players should go back to a couple of hours training each day, then spend the rest of the day playing golf/snooker and then drinking a few pints of Tetleys in the evening? We might have an unfit and pissed up squad that resembled a Millbridge Bus Sunday league team, but we’d always have a full squad to pick from…

What’s the latest on Pat Jones? He never seems to get mentioned and was looking like a handy option off the bench at one point

Not rocket science Most of what we've seen from Moore and his staff has been 3rd rate, at best. You don't think it could be anything to do with them 🤔

Can’t have helped being out of control of the ball so much…..must be stats to show that could be a reason?
