Couldn’t give a toss if we win or lose. Club has bigger issues than getting 3 points at Preston. Bigger issues admittedly, but surely you want us to win. Erm I guess? I don’t want us to lose, I’ll never want that. It just pisses me off how 2 people are completely ruining the club, I can’t get interested in a match day atm. Until there is something to be optimistic about it’s going to be a feeling of total apathy. I’m looking forward to League 1 in the hope all this mess is sorted out and we can reset.

Slim to no chance with this one. I’ve pretty much written it off and am hoping on picking up points from the next 2 home games.

I’m not looking forward to the prospect of League 1 football. And how many season card holders will be deciding it’s not for them? At least a 1/3 I’d guess.

I hope we win but the reality is that we probably won't. Ideally if the fanciful notion if staying up is to be achieved 3 points here and 3 against Rotherham are a must but as I said, the notion is fanciful.

Head to head; PNE 38, Town 37 (D 24), 100th meeting between the clubs at Deepdale where we haven't won for decades (so long ago M62 wasn't built), we normally take aa good following to PNE who have an away end housing over 7k.......a win here & the impossible dream of a nine point festive haul, highly unlikely..

IF and it's a big if we managed somehow to win the next 3 games and climb away from the foot of the table and potentially the relegation zone I wonder if that might sway whoever the hell is in charge to actually get some more players in to move us even further away. I won't hold my breath on all counts.

Got all the makings of a drab bore fest, Preston are poor at home don't score many, Town are just poor full stop!!.

no doubt we'll get the usual 2 players injured from fouls not given by the ref but puts our players out for 6 months. There's something about the raw boned knuckle heads at preston..they kick lumps out of us and the refs always say that's fine..
I think we should just forfeit games at deepdale, forever..

Preston are quite strong defensively , we have to score first in this one to stand any chance of coming away with something. MF is another coach/ manager who does not seem to be able to change the idea of Town concde first they mostly lose but at a push might get a draw. Soon as Watford/Sheff u scored it was game over, for many years now this seems to have been the case.

We must’ve had 10x as many comebacks from behind under Carlos than any manager in the previous years and since. That was nice 🥲

Under Carlos we tended to get in front a lot, in his first season we were ahead a lot but lost. Last season we were ahead a lot, we sometimes got pulled bk to draw such as cov at home, swansea at home and stoke at home. When we went behind we did tend not to win still

But the games we did comeback were: Bristol City A, Blackpool A, Reading A, Cardiff H, Burnley A. That’s very high for one season, 10x obviously an exaggeration.

Remember that song from back in the day.
All we are saying, is give us a _ _ _ _.
I daren’t even type it. I wonder how many Town fans have forgotten how to spell it?

An attempt or two would be a start.. All we are saying is have an attempt or two? Have to sing the last 5 words pretty quickly? Get 4 on saturday, every attempt, every deflection and an own goal chucked in😉

I remember seeing Steve Kindon in the old reception asking to see Mr Buxton, I turned to my sister & said 'if he signs we're definitely getting promoted, Kindo smiled & said 'if you'll have me' I will sign & we went up......lets hope Kenny Miller can recommend someone? (& stay up).

Until we are officially relegated we need whoever's turning up to try and get behind the players and provide as much support as we can do. That's the reason I've decided to go on boxing day. I don't want to see Town in League One and all the implications that come with it. As supporters we've got very little influence into how this next 5 months pans out but what we can do is back the players from the stands and try to remain supportive rather than getting on their backs.
There maybe a future owner watching over things, let make them think we are worth buying over the several other clubs that are up for sale (one of which includes Preston). There might be players thinking about signing in January, lets give them one reason to want to come here over someone else.
I also fancy a break from family members over the festive period.. This provides the perfect excuse.

Even at his ripe old age he surely couldn’t be any worse than what’s been up front for HTAFC of late in the last few weeks - could he !

I shall be spending the xmas period within walking distance of Plainmoor so if Im not needed for anything I may catch the Torquay v Yeovil game, bit of a local derby so no holds barred. Merry xmas to all on here if I dont manage to post again until the big day. Best of luck to town at Preston, we never seem to get much from there.
