I shall be spending the xmas period within walking distance of Plainmoor so if Im not needed for anything I may catch the Torquay v Yeovil game, bit of a local derby so no holds barred. Merry xmas to all on here if I dont manage to post again until the big day. Best of luck to town at Preston, we never seem to get much from there. Nice have a few pints of Exmoor Beast will help you forget the memory of another defeat |

Save it till after the game, not being funny but we need wins more than we need him out. It won't do the players any favours with fans jumping on their backs but I do agree we have a better chance of survival with someone else. |

He put some cones out for the subs at halftime at Hertha Berlin in front of 80k for afew months. We should just be grateful we have his experience at the club.

When you say, "Will we somehow win?", did you specifically mean in our fixture against PNE, or just whether it will happen again this season?

I live 17 miles from PNE, I go to football on Boxing Day but I'm not this time. I obviously hope we win but the events of the last 6 months have taken their toll. All credit to those going, I admire and applaud you.

Our captain Hoggy has achieved 'legend' status at Town & led teams to victory in a lot of unlikely settings with odds stacked against us, this one would be quite remarkable if we win........emulating another 'legend', the great Jimmy Nicholson who skippered our last triumph at Deepdale.

If Pearson is fit, we will have eight regulars who got to the play off final last season available for this plus Helik and Rudoni (£1m each), Kasumu, Camara, Jackson and Simpson.
That should be enough to give most teams at this level a game, unless you don’t know how to use them.

The year we got in playoffs , I don’t know how we took a point from this game because we were easily 2nd best. It’s not a happy hunting ground. But as they say a win is well over due and they often come when least expected. |
