'Family reasons' = wives googled photos of Bradford and said 'No f***ing way' to their other halves. Daft argument really, he could live in Hudders and work there, and its not as if he or his family don't know the area.

Didn’t they still live in Lincoln when they managed us? The Bradford owner is a weapon and Cowley thinks he’s the dog’s bollocks. It’ll be something daft that neither currently willing to back down on.

IIRC the Cowleys turned us down at first as well.
Brinkmanship on their part to get a better deal? Or maybe there's another club interested in their services that interests them more.

A division higher at a club he knows well and has a great reputation at.

I’ve seen Joey Barton is the latest to be linked with the Bradford job. For all his faults, he might be a reasonable choice for them. Did well at Fleetwood, got Bristol Rovers up from that division.

Hopefully you go up Bilo. It’s a big ask though from where you are at. Be about the only thing to look forward to next season is getting the Bradford Derby back on the fixture list which I have always way preferred to the Leeds ones.

According to Hoyle, he got the train back to London on a Saturday night, came back up Tuesday night ready for the FIRST training session of the week on the Wednesday. I think he said he went back down during the week sometimes too. The reason we were so unfit was they only trained half a week.

Yeah Hoyle has form when it comes to sticking the boot into ex employees after they've gone. Not a pleasant trait. Truth is I don't know, just saying what Powell said.

I used to see Danny Cowley jogging up Leeds road often around 7.30 am. Presumed he lived mirfield way , as far down as land rover garage.

Not a bad record to be fair:
Fleetwood - promotion from LG 2
Scunthorpe - 3rd in LG 1, left them in 5th in LG1
Salford - promotion from National League, EFL Trophy Final, left them in 5th in LG2
Motherwell - qualified for Europe
MK Dons - lasted 16 games
In saying that, Darren Moore’s record isn’t that bad either on paper.

Sounds like a similar record to Derek Adams and that didn't go too well for them.
