Nicholls, Lowton, Pearson, Hogg, Knockaert & Rhodes give the spine of the Town team a strong & healthy look on paper, the injury situation is still not clear & even after MF's PC today it still might not be (why tell your opponents?)..........maybe we will all have to wait till 2pm tomorrow to find out who's in & who's still wrapped in cotton wool.

1966. Boxing Day defeat 2-0 at Boothferry Park. Next day (yes, next day todays pampered players) 1-0 win at Leeds Rd. Over 30,000 for both games. Them were t'days!

Tomorrow is a tough game, they seem to have hit a bit of form. The signings are good and I’m going for a draw. If we don’t get anything let’s not have all this ridiculous negativity that’s all. We have 21 games to save ourselves not just tomorrow!

I think we can win this one ,although it will not be easy, 1-2 to Town, with Holmes and Rhodes scoring.

No clue why but I think we're gonna win there. 0-1 Knockaert fk who says he will start ? I don't think he will, but not starting doesn't stop you scoring. Strange reply really mate, or should I have stipulated it: Hull 0-1 Town Knockaert fk (off the bench) Is that better? He'll probably start now

Sounds like Nicholls is touch and go. MF has always been open about injuries and nothing suggests he is out for a prolonged period.

I think he's realised he needs to think about how he comes across in interviews more, as he spoke much more sense, and said stuff that made me like him a bit more in this presser, and took accountability for previous comments.

Tony Leighton sent off in the first game but allowed to play the following day as the sending off deemed sufficient. FA code for the ref dropped a bollock. pretty good considering it was decades before video replay

Sounds like Nicholls is touch and go. MF has always been open about injuries and nothing suggests he is out for a prolonged period. Reads like someone on here mentioned earlier in the week. He needs surgery but could get by on injections for a certain period of time. What long term damage does that have on Nicholls and is he really going to be at his best playing with an injury? His attempt at saving the second Luton goal suggests not

I can remember been stood with my dad in the little uncovered gap between the east terrace and the cowshed because we couldn’t get into the packed cowshed as if it was yesterday. It was a memorable game.

I've not seen the presser today but reading on here it sounds abit more positive news on Nicholls?
My guess is he's said they've never complained about things then go on to state that they've had an "horrific injury situation" about 5 times?

Herr Klopp is brilliant at it. "We don't moan about injuries, we just get on with it, but we have had an unbelievable amount of injuries recently!" I remember one manager (Wenger possibly?) starting with the line "With the amount of injuries we've got I'm happy with a point!" followed by "but we don't complain about injuries at [insert team]!"

They were absolutely shite that day, really abysmal. Definitely the worst team (apart from us, obviously) to play at our ground this season.

Massive Massive game tomorrow in a Massive Massive month for HTAFC... Make no mistake this month is a defining one in our season and the critical run of games starts tomorrow...
10:points in January would be awesome, but the head says eight at best which would just about keep us still in the mix...
We need de points and badly as April looks bloody horrendous so Come on Town make a positive start tomorrow !

I know what my customers would say if the quality of work went down whilst my rate went up, 2nd word would be off.

Private rail operators - many owned by foreign governments, ironically - pocketing huge amounts of money and not employing enough staff.
