High seen as box to box potentially the only reason I can see for his inclusion over Kasumu. Camara has gone off the boil, to be expected for a young lad in a struggling team. Jackson clearly not fancied. Let's see how they perform before writing them off. Plenty of options off the bench of we keep it tight for 60 minutes.

I presume Camara and Jackson are both about to leave, with KKH returning to Villa.
PS: I think there's a decent player in High, but even I wouldn't have started him!

All this personal shit against High needs to stop. Lad always gives his all and was part of a successful side for a period last year. Give the lad a chance at least, before writing off. Has a far better passing ability and range than Kasumu for example. You can argue that Kasumu and Hogg would be a far more negative starting point than High and Hogg.

Feel a bit for KKH not being in the matchday 18. He had shown some form at right wing back before MF moved him to the left last week. Think he’s gone back to Villa🤷🏼 |

Who knows, but certainly stronger than Simpson and Ondo as the options. |

That is the bit I don't understand either, although when Jackson came on against Watford, he was absolutely awful and got murdered by Asprilla time after time. Kasumu and KKH were both shocking against Preston, and have been dropped on merit. Camara and Hogg together would be much more negative than High and Hogg. We have better options on the bench than we normally do, as usual I'm a bit baffled by Jackson getting left out but I think that team could do well

Hate it..you watch it unravel and then we try to recover the game against teams who then sit and look at us with no need to go for more goals.
We need an openish game, the set piece 20 odd goals are not happening.
We dont break from our own 18 yard line and make chances.
Have to press more and for longer, have to win the ball back further up the pitch, have to engage attacks further up the pitch.
Hope Im badly wrong..

I agree with a lot of your sentiment as to what state the club is in and the rudderless leadership, but to suggest that Waghorn isn't a better option than Ondo or Simpson, neither of whom are remotely ready, not were they intended to be ready, for this level. |

Fotheringham has either pulled off a masterstroke or will need to take the heavy criticism if it goes wrong. |

But maybe High can do some of those things far better than other options in CM. Camara is a deep-lying playmaker type and Kasumu is best at ratting round and getting stuck in. The main issue is that the Back 5 look like a Back 5 as Ruffels offers very little going forwards. Hopefully Lowton can get up and down the right |
