Hull is an unfairly maligned place, IMO. I used to work near the Old Town, some great pubs and restaurants there.

Anyone on 11:27 train out of Leeds tomorrow, just had an email to inform me it’s cancelled. I’m not but how shit is our rail system? And they have the audacity to ask for a pretty big pay rise! I know what my customers would say if the quality of work went down whilst my rate went up, 2nd word would be off. Ah yes those scumbag rail workers having the audacity to ask our glorious tory overlords for their pay to increase in line with inflation! And don't get me started on those awful nurses.

1966. Boxing Day defeat 2-0 at Boothferry Park. Next day (yes, next day todays pampered players) 1-0 win at Leeds Rd. Over 30,000 for both games. Them were t'days! They were, I remember it well. Hull City had Wagstaff and Chilton, but we had the great Tony Leighton View AttachmentCan't remember any of the match but was certainly there, back of the main stand with mates from my street. I wonder if still have the programme somewhere in the loft.

But yes, the Old Town was always quite pleasant. Lived near Pearson Park then Perth Street for 5 years when we were first married. Can remember going to Boothferry Park near the end of one season when Town just missed out on promotion an Hull were relegated so no chance of 30,000 at that match, think it was 6 or 8k.

Isn't it the private company Network Rail in charge of rail worker pay? I believe so I think Contracts between rail operators and the government allow the government to direct how disputes are handled. Rail operators are not free to agree terms and conditions with their employees without the involvement of the Transport Secretary. "Mark Harper so far, has not taken the necessary steps to start this process. It is interesting that in every part of the rail network where the Department of Transport is not involved, The RMT have agreed deals. For example: * Eurostar - Mitie security: 10% (29% for lowest paid) * Scotrail: 7-9% * Transport for Wales: 6.6%-9.5% * Merseyrail: 7% * MTR Crossrail: 8.2% * Docklands Light Railway: 9.25%" I'm quoting from a biased source there so feel fee to contradict if you have alternative information

Maybe Bromby is picking the team 😭- future captain Scott High back in.
Not much/any creativity in that line up 😬

Feel a bit for KKH not being in the matchday 18. He had shown some form at right wing back before MF moved him to the left last week.

Straight from Rotherhams bench to our starting 11. Makes sense He’s obviously had a “good week” of training, more so than Kasumu and definitely more than Camara.

Scott High coming straight back in to the starting 11 shows how one dimensional Fotheringham is. Comes back, shows a bit of willingness in training, straight in the team. No question of whether he’s the best option. He’ll praise him for a couple of weeks (credit to his family, loves the club etc) and then dump him like he has with Jackson
