Bet Warnock is in the stands for this one. If he’s on a big survival bonus I can’t imagine him missing it.

In the last few games we have missed Helik more than we think. Was having a good run of form before being injured.

After losing the six-pointer against Wigan in the worst performance I've seen since Siewert, I think Chicho will gee them up and we'll scrape a draw.
What do you think ? Bloody hell, didn’t expect today’s news. Could give us a boost even though Warnock isn’t in charge of this game. Possible win ?

I seem to be the only one very concerned about our goalkeeper situation. The club even said it was no time for kids in that position.
Was it Stoke where Poppadom Hands played and embarrassed himself? Apart from Nicholls what an absolute bollocks we’ve made of that position.

Some interesting quotes from Lees in the press conference just now..... getting NW is not an experiment, you know what you're getting with Neil and he'll get us doing the fundamentals properly.....a bit telling I think from an experienced player

Another one like Scott High, do not see what he brings at all. He brings a degree of dynamism and legs, we are so short of legs in the team at Wigan. Likewise Kassumu has to play for his Engine, Id Consider High as well, but not sure he is actually ready. We cant rely on a whole team of experience who have lost any kind of pace. We were 2nd to every 50/50, We were 2nd to 60/40s in our favour. We cant fill the team with goals, as we dont have any, we cant defend for shit with the experience, so like fozzy said, we can outrun, out batlle, out fight. Maybe have hogg for rudoni, but his passing is woeful, when we reset in the summer, Hogg may well be one of the casualties. The negativity is sometimes led by him, the balance is, that the positivity is led by him when things are good also.

Going off his interview today it doesn't seem to have affected him much

Some interesting quotes from Lees in the press conference just now..... getting NW is not an experiment, you know what you're getting with Neil and he'll get us doing the fundamentals properly.....a bit telling I think from an experienced player Warnock treated Lees terribly during his spell at Leeds, it'll be interesting to see how he reacts in his form 10 or so years down the line. This is not the first time Lees has played for Warnock, of course. Then a young player who had just started to play regular Championship football, the centre-back started all but eight of Warnock’s 63 matches in charge of Leeds United from 2011-2013. Lees admitted several teammates had approached him to pick his brains on what to expect under the new boss, saying: “A few have asked me what it’s like! I’m pretty sure it’s just me and Wardy (Danny Ward) that have played for him. Everyone’s just eager to get started with him.” He added: “There’s never a dull moment. You’ve got to remember I was probably 21 when I played for him, so it was a long time ago now, but from what I’ve seen and heard since that time he seems to be still quite the same. “There’s never a dull moment, he keeps everybody on their toes, and he’s probably exactly how you’d imagine really. It’ll probably be getting those fundamentals right that you need to win the game, and that’s the basic needs and the basic responsibilities that everybody needs to do to in a game of football. “He does a lot for [camaraderie] in terms of his personality and the way he is with the players and the way he man-manages people. He’s a really good man manager, knows what it takes for different players to get the best out of them. “There’s different ways of doing that…I’m sure everybody’s seen the videos of dressing rooms, but equally he can put an arm round you as well and make you feel a million dollars. He’s got both sides of that. “I’m just looking forward to it. He’ll keep everybody on their toes and hopefully get that extra 10-20% out of every player. “I did just over a season with him and every manager’s got their way of doing it, there’s no right or wrong way, but definitely a lot of the things that I learned during my time with him, I’ve definitely taken with me throughout my career. “For a defender it’s getting those basic, important, nitty-gritty bits that maybe aren’t that enjoyable to do but they’re what make you reliable and what make you consistent. Definitely throughout my career, there’s always times you come back to and think of things he said to you, and I’ve definitely relied on those in the ten years or so since.”

Just listened to the Stoke preview episode of the And He Takes That Chance podcast, and hearing Boothy rave about Warnock has left me feeling a bit more optimistic... I'd be worried about carbon monoxide poisoning if it wasn't for the fact there's no gas in my flat!
Stoke 1 - 2 Huddersfield. Goals from Rudoni and Hungbo.

Go for it on weds Bilo Lowton helik pearson headley Kasumu Camara Hungbo Knockheart koroma Rhodes But Helik isn’t fit! And Lowton is a spent force as it's clear he's lost it and was a desperation signing once Baldwin took over from Bromby as the club's transfer deadline recruiter.
