And Lowton is a spent force as it's clear he's lost it and was a desperation signing once Baldwin took over from Bromby as the club's transfer deadline recruiter. As Turton is out there's no choice. I'm surevhe will be ok on his proper side.

Tyrese Campbell or Jacob Brown will score tonight, they always score against us

Be a nice bonus for warnock coming in if we could somehow scrape a win tonight.Think if that did happen he probably needs 5 or 6 wins from last 15 and the appropriate amount of draws to make up 18/19 points.a loss tonight and Saturday and then a drubbing at Burnley doesn’t bare thinking about. I’m wondering if now turton is out again especially,we go back to 3 at the back because full back seems very weak. Depending if certain players are fit(I haven’t seen the presser) I would go with 3-4-1-2 Vaclik Pearson Helik Lees Lowton Jackson Hogg/camara Kasumu Knockaert Rhodes/waghorn Hungbo
I know hungbo up top a little left field but he has pace and dribbling ability and with another up there to do the scrapping/winning ball/focal point it could potentially work. I say Hogg or camara too because I just don’t think they work too well together, kasumu is slightly different player. Probably be way off what actually happens like but there you go.

At the moment, I'm at a loss to making the right team selection. I think I've seen dozens of formations and all of them look forced and awkward.
The team is unbalanced which may all stem from the Left-Back Right-Back selections - I don't think we've looked the same team since Naka got injured, around that time, it actually looked like we were turning a corner.

Gaffer is the best we could have got, but we still have the problem of having a god awful attack. I just can’t see goals coming from it. I think we just have to capitalise on set pieces like last year to win games.
Is Holmes injured? Get him back in the side, has been our only one who looks to make things happen in the final third.

Yes holmes is injured, think I’d seen maybe a month(that was the pre Wigan press conference) I think one thing warnock will look to do is get more men in the box when we get the ball in certain areas and from set pieces and just cause a bit of chaos rather then any set plans/pieces of interplay. I imagine he will look to make it as simple as possible. Generally we don’t take enough risks just in terms of how many men we get into the box, that alone could make a fair difference.

Yes he's injured and he's never looked like making things happen in the final 3rd since he came back.

Please name me more than one match where Holmes has "made things happen in the final third" - either since he returned or when he was first here.

Will warnock be back in the country today? Yeah, he is expected to be at the game tonight He won’t just be ‘pottering’ around Stoke’s ground - He’ll be kicking every ball ⚽️ there as much as the visiting HTAFC in there will ! 😊

No Hudlin with the B team Smith & Diarra both playing which suggests they won't be involved tonight. Maybe Valick's recovered or Chapman's preferred on the bench.

Not looking at his first spell, I didn’t rate him then but I think he’s been noticeably better (to me at least) since he came back. I agree with the OP he often looks like the only player trying to make things happen. Obviously in true HTFC fashion a few still have the knives out for him This season Rotherham (goal) Luton (goal) Stoke ( 2 assists) Last season Hull (goal) Bristol (goal) Derby (goal) Forest (goal) Fulham (goal)

For me he’s been the player who looked most likely to create something this season.

If Hudlin is involved, it also suggests both Waghorn and Rhodes starting.

Any parking suggestions? These grounds all roll into one. Park on the Kingsway car park in the town. Two pubs close The Glebe or the White Star. No problems in either. Get the shuttle bus return to the grounds£3 There’s some parking near the ground but no good pubs and it’s murder getting off after
