Be interesting to see what he does with Camara. Camara was simply awful, but more to the point, visibly disinterested against Wigan. Not expecting to to see le sulky Frenchman anytime soon unless he has an epiphany. Arguably our best player/midfielder at the start of the season. I haven't given up on him yet. Needs to fix up sharp though, I agree.

Think he may have been who kenny muller was alluding to on that radio interview when said someone needed to concentrate on the football and ignore the noise, there was interest in January I think. If warnock can use his powers of man management to get him focused he starts every week for me. If not he can’t play as we definitely can’t be carrying players. Better known as kenny miller Quite good at taking corners

Only watched the snippet on the Examiner website. I don’t bother much with the press conferences, not sure what they ultimately achieve for the team & Mgr.
So it was nice to listen to 5 mins from an experienced bloke who is comfortable in his own shoes and will hopefully be given the latitude to give it a shot.
Hope it translates into a good day tomorrow. The result is ultra important, but if it’s a much improved performance, it’ll lift the spirits that bit more. Obviously hoping that such a performance results in a deserved 3 points of course.
UTT!!!

Lees interview after Warnock appointed not exactly a 100% endorsement. Lees you might now have to fight for your place, if you are capable.

Not sure what the point is here. Is it a dig at Lees or Warnock.

First team - REG, Lowton, Pearson, Ruffels, Boyle B Team - Adewoju, Daley, Eccleston, Headley, Jackson, Maroodza, Olaguju, Spencer Can piece something together from that

Good luck trying to put together a credible defence from what's left, if it doesnt include Lees, and if he he's only watched our last two games. Would suspect it will be a three of REG, Lees & Lowton, with the hope of pushing Headley and Hungbo further up.

He said in his press conference there were one or two players he liked who haven't been playing. Any guesses on who they are? Jon Russell and Sorba Thomas I don’t think Russell would be Warnock’s kind of player.

A big lad up top alongside Rhodes? Jordan was always better in a two during his first spell here.

If he’s god that will be good for me. Don’t know whether he is good enough or not as I haven’t seen him play that much but seems to have been ok at his previous club. But I appreciate those who don’t want him in the side will have watched him a lot more than me at his previous club. Just out of interest those who slag him off. How many games haveyou actually seen him play. I guess 20 plus!

Therein lies the problem for me - footballers at times seem to think if you werent a great player we cant respect you as a coach! Very few great managers were great players - they get frustrated at others not doing what they could. With the money now in the game they just ignore bollockings and trouser the cash! Warnock is old school but with a twist - he knows the club needs a pick me up but woe betide anyone who slackens off in the coming weeks. They simply wont play and like he did with Starbuck first time around he wont care one jot if its the most talented he leaves out cos the team as a whole benefits. Hes brilliant at creating a siege mentality - us against the world and driving results accordingly - he needs to be because right now anyone putting money on us to stop up must have more money than sense!!! We live in hope though........................ Interesting conversation on this and but just to add to that did you hear the Ashley Williams interview interview re his time with Nathan Jones at Stoke? He basically said that there were some fairly big characters in that dressing room- him, Charlie Adam and the like and that Jones went in and basically said ‘you boys have have achieved a lot in the game, what can I tell you’!? So basically it wasn’t that they didn’t respect him for being a rookie coach, they disrespected him for coming in with an inferiority complex!!! From that you would conclude that if a manager comes in with confidence and a plan which he can deliver on, the players will get on board no matter what level he has or hasn’t played at. Obviously Warnock is different as because he can command respect immediately because of his managerial achievements but wion’t have always been like that in his early career and he didn’t achieve much as a player!? I find it hard to believe jones has an inferiority complex ..... even with god! I get your point though.

I’ve not seen Mahoney play anything better than pony but what an opportunity for the lad.
He’s currently on a fast track from Premier League to Bradford City. 15 games earn a contract somewhere above division 4 next season.
If we do decide to go 4 4 2 i could see a place for him on the left side. Warnock’s Paul Reid:

It's been dreadful for years.... only we have had some sucess. So we have accepted that. Ever since the club adopted a playing style that was shit, I.e 4231 generally the football has been effective but garbage. Jan seiwert had us playing the best football in his first few games as gaffer as a 433... but we neither had the players or he the ability to carry it off. He wanted to play like Liverpool with RVLP, Diakhaby and Mbenza. Just hope Colin can find a few gems that fit what he wants to do. We have the players they are just weighed down by our rigid German football. 😂😂😂 did he fuck, it was absolute dog shite 😂😂😂 He fucking did... just got smashed everyweek, because the player were shit. Same reason wagner played a low block for nearly 2 seasons.

That league table looks worse the more you look at it . I know there's still fifteen games to go , but if Warnock gets us out of this relegation scrap in surely his last throw of the dice , he's an absolute genius in my eyes..

Looking at his stint at Rotherham in 2016. Took over 2nd week in February with 16 games to go and three points adrift. W6, D6, L4 finished nine points clear. That would do. W7, D4, L4 finished nine points clear.
