Safe with a game to go, the potential to get to 53 pts is all a bit mad after the Coventry & Bristol C games.
I was in the too close to call camp. It still feels that way, but, bar Coventry & Burnley, I think we’re unbeaten vs top 6 sides, possibly top 8 or 9?

I doubted he would do it. I doubted a lot about the club. I called it The Emperor's New Clothes. I was very wrong.

I'll put my hand up, I too had my doubts. Thought we were gone.

Warnock has been truly awful since he came in. Football has moved on - he simply should be in retirement - which to be fair is where he was when approached him. Hello darkness my old friend. Just want to rebump this Dunc masterclass.

Brilliant managerial demonstration from a man who has left his signature firmly imprinted in modern football. Take a bow Mr Warnock- UTT

What Wagner, Corberan and Fotheringham (with varying degrees of success) have done is to HOLD in the first half. If Town go 1-0 down then it is retrievable. This is shown by town this season, being fourth in the table for "points gained from a losing position". In the second half Town strike. Warnock has proved a master of this.
Also, the last four managers seem to have trained the team to maximum physical endurance. Warnock was different and I know he also did this at Middlesborough. He gives the players two or three days off midweek so that they can mentally recuperate... wise old devil.

Can’t help but think we got lucky with the fixtures.. Sheff looked a quality side (ndiaye was outstanding) And I reckon if they had been fully motivated we would have lost.. But everyone needs a bit of luck.. We capitalised and we’re a real threat 2nd half.. 🍻🍻

Unbelievable job he’s done. I’d be going all out to keep him at the club next season, even in a part time DOF role (or whatever he wants!).
It’s almost an impossible act to follow. Just hope we don’t appoint another novice.

I'm one of those who thought he couldn't do it, very happy to be so wrong. The change in the club since he arrived is fantastic and he deserves all the accolades he's getting, well done to him, all his staff and the players who believed and gave everything .

Rotherham 2015-16 - 16 games, 24 points Cardiff 2016-17 - 35 games, 54 points Middlesbrough 2019-20 - 8 games, 12 points Fill the next one in yourselves.
If you're in the bottom three and you need someone to get you one and a half points a game, you know who to call.

Incredible man and man - mangement , when you have an idea and get people onside. That is a skill in itself , what he has doen should never be talked about as anything less than incredible.
I thought we had a fighters chance when Nw came back in, but i am so proud and happy he got it done . He holds himself so well and gets good people around him like Jeppo - who got things out of this squad that no one could ever have got out of them.
Bbetter than any manager i have ever seen at town before or since NW first stint , he is so good at getting the msot out of people.
Thank you Nw Love your management style and will always be graeful for your fire fighting.

Part 1 done, part 2 is for Forest to be relegated, that would be on par with us staying up.

Part 1 done, part 2 is for Forest to be relegated, that would be on par with us staying up. Yes please, would be poetic justice, after the diabolical referring of Jon Moss & performance of VAR officials, at Wembley, last season. All hail Neil Warnock & Ronnie Jepson - UTT.

I was definite we were down after the Norwich home game, when despite a point we were truly dreadful and had actually seemed to go backwards after MMF. On reflection it looks like that was due to Neil just deciding to strip everything back (hence some of the early losses and performances under him) and basically start all over again. Astonishing that he was able to do that, rebuild and then keep us up within such a narrow timescale.

But I’ve always thought that the best Mgrs are the ones that can get a tune out of an old fiddle. Guardiola has riches at his disposal that he can choose to use or not, he’ll have a budget, but the pressure on that budget will be nowhere close to what 99% of football Mgrs have to deal with. That’s why the people skills are so important, that bit of nous and experience. Guardiola will have a lot of those traits, but he’s also got the luxury of so many safety nets. Warnock and the few like him are just brilliant Mgrs, true management skills that are developed and honed. We should beware hiring a Mgr who focuses on moaning about budgets, they take a job with eyes wide open and the good ones don’t make excuses… 74yo and still having a craic, that’s how he works now…

I really like the old school no bull shit managers, says it how it is, he will have said some home truths and conviction to the players from the off which instilled togetherness.
Big Sam is also one of my favourites, cannot see him keeping Leeds up though.

If we get a point on Thursday the club needs to put a Warnock mask on every seat for next Monday.
I never ever want to see masked up faces again whatever the reason is!

Ha, duncfrost gets a mention in Warnock presser, says he did not take any notice😂😂 Hahahaha 11:33 STEVEN CHICKEN Reading forums "I was looking back after I've done 6 or 7 games. Dunfost said 'Warnock has been awful since he came in, he should be in retirement'. Then there's another who said 'hello darkness, my old friend'. It's easy to criticise, everyone's an expert, but it's a good job I didn't listen to him!"

He’s done an incredible job! I thought he was the only man who could get us out of the mess we ourselves had engineered but felt he’d been appointed perhaps 4 games too late. Those 4 before he arrived were arguably against lesser opposition and I thought having fluffed it, our chance had gone. Ecstatic to have been proven wrong.

Pep Guardiola did mention Neil Warnock the other day, he obviously respects him and will know they're both on the same page...just not financially.

Warnock is a god. My favourite manager of ALL TIME. On both occasions he’s made me love this club even more than I thought was possible. Rocket Ron’s smile on Thursday after the game brought a tear to my eye, you could see the joy in their faces and god would I love one more year my lord from these 2 hero’s.
