No idea where we go from here...this is a legacy from the board room unfortunately..be it Schofield, Fothers or Warnock...nobody can get a tune out of this squad of has-beens and B team lads...I simply don't have space to describe the catalogue of errors in that performance.. 90 minutes of being totally annhiliated by Coventry City.
The sooner releagtion is confirmed the sooner Hoyle can sod off and we can start to rebuild.

Football for most clubs goes through cycles. We're on a massive down swing and it will only get worse.
Those stonewall penalties not awarded at Wembley (despite VAR) will be seen as massively pivotal in our club's history.
I can only see lower league football now for years, probably decades ahead.
Time to find something else to do on a Saturday methinks.

The worsed thing is the lack of apparent effort from the players.
Against Birmingham we pressed far higher was much more direct.. I get against Burnley we are not doing this but against Coventry just revert to this positive approach.
We are just not good enough technically to build up and play through the lines.

Stick a fork in us. We’re done. Cooked. Down. Need a huge clear out in the summer and 15-20 players brining in. The players are a total disgrace, out of their depth and totally devoid of any personal pride. I’d offload the lot of them in the summer.

First 15 minutes we were the better team. Controlling the game, looking positive, making a few chances.
After that it's very hard to put into words just how bad it was. Helik and Bilo, absolute shit for the first 2 goals. You can't win games when you give away shit like that. Warnock left it far too late to change anything, a real rookie move. Lowton cannot play on the left, and it's no coincidence our last bit of positivity was before Headley went off.
Coventry we so average and so so so much better than us despite doing not a lot.

Just think about it for a second, we appointed not just one but TWO managers in a row with ZERO management experience. Replaced O Brien with a league 2 player and Toffolo with NOBODY. We also went into this season with Ward and Rhodes as our strikers. It's all been fucked up from the very top

I partly agree with the third one - possibly lower league football for a few years, but anything can happen over decades... But I think fans should stick with Town (and any other teams for that matter) in sunshine and in shadow - and all being well I’ll still come to see HTAFC twice a season in League 1 - even The Conference League heaven forbid... |
