Listening to radio Leeds Utd this morning and has usual they mention Town last and said Huddersfield had a staggering loss yesterday, i don't recall anything like that mentioned when their beloved Leeds Utd get hammered at Elland Road.
Driving to the game yesterday, presenter Katherine Hannah was praising the Chickens because they had over 19,000 tickets sold! for their game and she also said they hold the record for the biggest attendance at a game in that division but i believe that record is held by Portsmouth, does anyone know if that is correct or not.

BBC radio Leeds? Oh I remember that, it was that station I used to be able to get town coverage on. They then said we can only get town coverage on DAB, I went out and bought a DAB radio for that reason alone, they then decided to change our DAB frequency which doesn't works in my area.
Bring back coverage on the Pulse.

To put Huddersfield Town on a frequency that half of Huddersfield cannot recieve and not rectify the problem for years is so poor. |

BBC Radio Leeds use to be a good radio station but it is poor these days just like the test of the BBC. I was listening to it on the way home after yesterdays debacle, Warnock said an interesting quote "we have a lot of the same players" what did he mean by that players who are crap, he said the fans were brilliant yesterday but the ground was emptying that quick after 60 minutes it was total silence from the Town fans left in.

In the nicest sense what do we expect?!
We are a shit awful watch and listen - i think glennon does a decent job personally but oggy has become a bit of a patsy and wont ask the difficult questions.
The radio station is the least of our problems though i would suggest. Egos in the boardroom / shower of shite on the pitch / a new manager in the summer that gets the club and its fans / a new recruitment team are dar more pressing issues!

I get 2 Radio Leeds coming up on dab in my car and at home so I can listen to either, but only the Bradford dab in the wife's car. So occasionally listen to city coverage can I just say to them playing at Valley Parade is no ones cup final and they don't get anywhere near the crowd they claim so stop fking repeating it constantly.

So unless you have a radio that lets you mess about and go into some extended details of the channel you have no way of knowing and pissing about like hat in the car is a non starter. I've complained and was just given some pathetic bullsht excused before they closed the case down. Not paying for that shit so at least I'll save on a TV license. Katherine Hannah is, and has been rubbish, from day 1. She’s embarrassingly bad and I switch her off when she’s on. Oggy doesn’t like asking the tough questions in interviews, Glennon is ok(ish), least he gives an opinion unlike O’Regan who always sat on the fence. Johnny Buchan is decent tbf but he doesn’t cover our games very often. The dab split frequency thing is a pile of shite. |

I’m in Golcar and it always starts ok with Town coverage, but randomly switches to Drabford almost constantly on the way into town (and back after the game too). As if this isn’t enough though, twice recently Radio Fucking Leeds has randomly switched on when I’ve had talkSPORT on. Being a technophobe I’ve no idea how to rescan the radio in the car, or if there’s a way to ‘lock’ the station to stop getting dry-bummed by the Drabford coverage. Any help gratefully received?

Does my fucking kipper in, the way it keeps switching. I’m in Golcar and it always starts ok with Town coverage, but randomly switches to Drabford almost constantly on the way into town (and back after the game too). As if this isn’t enough though, twice recently Radio Fucking Leeds has randomly switched on when I’ve had talkSPORT on. Being a technophobe I’ve no idea how to rescan the radio in the car, or if there’s a way to ‘lock’ the station to stop getting dry-bummed by the Drabford coverage. Any help gratefully received? You're stuffed. I live in Linthwaite and pick my mate up in Golcar. Usually start in Linthwaite OK, Milnsbridge is a total blackspot, Golcar changes willy nilly as you drive up Scar Lane. Park up for 5 minutes and the car loses it completely, sometimes never to regain it until I park up on St Andrews Road. Coming home is just as bad. |
