I remember when it was on The Pulse or was it Pennine Radio back then, anyway it was fm and I could get it on my way home from working in Barnsley and never lost a signal no matter what valley I would pass this DAB is utter SH!£@. Those were the days when they used to say, the goal light is flashing ! I think it blew up with the Man City fixture when it was 10-1. I remember the goal light, sounds like a sketch from Allo Allo I listen to the away games on my TV channel 719

And having a hissy fit everytime the opposition looks like scoring. I know what you mean but ( although he can’t say this ) he’s a Town fan. His Wife and Son sit near us at every home game. People who slag Oggy off haven't listened to much local football commentators. I have no issue with the coverage just the signal.

Think he started life as a Burnley fan, but after 20 years or so watching almost every town game its probably safe to say he's switched allegiances. A switch he's timed rather badly given their last 15 years His wife is Huddersfield born and bred.

When we leave the car park after a home game we get post match on our game for about two minutes then it flick to Bradford before moldgreen then flicks back at about Waterloo and continues to flick between them all the way home. It’s absolutely shocking. And I’m not trying to listen to the game. Town should tell them to do one and let it be broadcast on fm. If Kev Nagle is wanting to improve the whole experience then maybe someone on twatter needs to send him a tweet about it. This. Please.

Shit music, same few tunes on a loop, awful djs spouting unfunny bollocks, constant'competitions,'dreadful adverts, many for solicitors trying to get people to sue the NHS.Even with my own headphones on I can hear it. Its a truly feking awful channel.

Saved shitloads (£25 pcm) of money, no need to have headphones on full blast and STILL not hear your own music, plus massive bonus of no meatheads posing in front of the mirror showing off their roid-bumps, that disappear about 2 months after they stop pinning, idiots.

All I'm getting on Radio Leeds this morning is Radio 3, have they all gone on strike or something?

I’m one of the folk who lives in an area where the signal is non existent, but really what’s Towns alternative?

I’m one of the folk who lives in an area where the signal is non existent, but really what’s Towns alternative? Main game on Five Live, every Saturday afternoon! But more seriously, the Beeb have all the infrastructure in place to broadcast over t'internet (appreciate that doesn't suit absolutely everybody, but still) - as RL do unless there's a game on - the problem is rights, and that's nowt to do with the BBC or the club. Hence people paying for iFollow to get content paid for by a TV Licence.

I think that’s an issue with the broadcast rights of radio versus online being different. Again, out of towns hands.

I contacted DTS a few years back regarding the issue. He said radio Leeds were looking into improving the situation yet nothing has happened? He also gave the 'little Huddersfield' line that we should be grateful they're covering us because they're covering 3 teams. As a championship club at the time, I thought it was a ridiculous statement to make, especially considering one of the covered teams are a league 2 side.

I wonder what part charging people in other parts of the country to listen to the commentary. Plays in these contract negotiations. The ability to feed the broadcasters stream through the website and the cost involved for doing that. Plus the ability of the provider to block the commentary from their website.

Shocking that they split the dab with Bradford when they sold the line that dab was Town only after they kicked us off FM. All to accommodate Leeds.

I'm a fan of Oggy and Matt on comms and the RL chaps are genuinely good people, but there are a few things I don't like: - If Leeds kick off early it's on ALL frequencies and Town's pre match show gets chopped to around 20/25 mins. For home games everyone is out of the car and on the way to the ground. Surely that's unnecessary? - Post Match you can listen online on the BBC website but online defaults to FM which of course is Leeds and if they're not playing it defaults to Bradford so unless Town are playing when the other two aren't you have to go sit in the car and listen (unless you have Ifollow or it's different on the TV channel) if where you live can pick up the channel. - They upload a lot of the pre and post-match shows to BBC Sounds. Unless I’m looking in the wrong place though it tends to only be Leeds Utd or if Leeds haven’t played, Bradford City. Town only appears if the other two aren’t playing on the same day. - Town don’t get a podcast. Actually no, that’s fine, less competition the better I know they’ll point to more listening figures for the other lot but that’s surely not the point of a service paid for by license fees that are supposed to serve an area and not just a City within it. I do feel like Town need to be treated with a bit more fairness considering the club stuck by RL when Bates decided to take Leeds Utd elsewhere and Bradford had their flirtation with The Pulse.

I can't help but feel like this is a bit of a missed opportunity by Town. Could this not have been a chance to set up our own low cost subscription service, to go along with our new website, which aired the games for maybe £1 or something minor. Breakaway from a service which doesn't treat us like paying customers and instead treats us like second or third rate citizens behind 2 other clubs.

The new website, albeit an improvement, is just their updated template.

I think that’s an issue with the broadcast rights of radio versus online being different. Again, out of towns hands. I find this bizarre, you can listen to DAB on your mobile phone and get a perfect signal, yet if/when theres a town game on live you cant listen via the same platform. Put DAB on on my way home from a game and its in and out all the way home, absolutely shocking service
