Pair of twats. One never had the money and has a habit for lying and the other sought him out knowing full well he didn't have the money cos he knew him far better then he now pretends. 4 years of posturing, chest puffing and dick waving later and between them they've fucked it right up. Well played, 2 Town fans. Exactly this is why, i am not bothered about Hoyle and PH going away fast and getting proper buisnesmen in who run it like a proper club. Like Derby or Wednesday

Woahhhh hold the fuck on here. You previously posted a few days this… I’ve highlighted some bits in bold that you may want to cast your mind back to. Make your mind up, what is it? Not seen backpeddling on this scale since Nayim leathered one at Dave Seaman from 60 yards... I said last week it wasn’t a possibility for DH to do this, however now we have no progress with PURE admins this is a real possibility it’s a big mess and it now might be the only option so that PURE admins are completely out of the picture, don’t forget DH only has 25% shares right now, at no point did I say DH was putting us in admin.

Would this speed up the takeover ?

Can someone explain why the administrators of the Pure companies that supposedly have nothing to do with the one that owns Town, are involved in this process?

I'll know admin is nailed on when there is a sudden special offer to buy a 10 year season card bond 🤪

seen as Dean Hoyle doesn't own the club, could he buy the club out of administration if there were a lack of buyers? I don’t think he would but Ken Bates did exactly that instantly up the road

Or he could just pay the previously agreed price. Whilst you're here, what's your take on why the original deal with Kirklees over the stadium didn't go through?

Whilst administration (with a points deduction) this season might seem like a good idea for a fresh start, it does bring problems.
Several suppliers, some probably local and small, would lose thousands. People would lose their jobs. There is the risk of liquidation.
I'm not a financial expert (far from it!) but I think this saga isn't over yet, by a long shot. It may get worse before it gets better but I guess that's the HTAFC way. It should be our club motto.

20 years on from 2003 and admin and here we seemingly are again. What a waste..
Looking forwards I wouldn’t be too fussed with deduction this season confirm L1 and let’s start rebuilding our club

Maybe the potential new buyers have got to the stage of not willing to wait much longer before moving on, so action might be needed to get passed the administrators who won’t budge.

Looking forwards I wouldn’t be too fussed with deduction this season confirm L1 and let’s start rebuilding our club A disappointment, but definitely not a waste, in that time I have had some fantastic memories and so has my son. Trips to the Millennium, Stamford bridge, the unbeaten run, two seasons in the Premier League, beating Man UTD. And, as other have siad, I have also had some belting times in the lower league - wonder if I will ever get those Fish n Chips again at Shrewsbury - bloody marvelous. (edit - there is a good chippy at Swindon but I have nothing but bad memories from there)

If Hoyle didnt put the money in he does then the club would go into admin.. but thats been the case all the time hes had the club, bar the PL years.
Has he suggested anywhere he is not willing to keep putting that money in?

I’ve had all the memories too cardiff, Wembley twice

Finding this all very difficult to process. Incredibly problematic and uncertain at the moment.
I wonder what changed for Dean Hoyle. He had agreed a deal with Hodgkinson which was approved by the administrators. Why did he choose to try and negotiate a new deal?
Greed would be the obvious answer, but I’ve no idea if that’s correct, so speculating on it doesn’t seem fair. Problem is, whatever his reasoning, he’s playing with the future of the football club I support. I don’t like that. I don’t think it’s fair on our fans. I would love it if he’d just return to the previously agreed deal, get the 75% back, sell the club, and be on his way.

Dean then buys the club and circumvents Phil's admin team. Dean isn't majority shareholder so might not be as much of an issue as it seems. Having 100% of the shares Dean then sells to Elon Musk and we get to San Siro before it's demolished. Simples.

A lot of know it all’s on this thread that can tell us all exactly how things have played out. Only issue being, they know the square root of fuck all. As we’ve already established, you fit firmly in the camp of knowing the square root of fuck all on all aspects of Huddersfield Town and football. Instead all you do is berate fans for debating about the shite situation the clubs in whilst you sit pretending it’s everyone else’s fault. What was it you said at the start of the season…? Only one way to make feelings known and that's before the home game against Burnley First game of the season, on TV so plenty of opportunities to tell the world what we think about this shocking state of the club. Back the players and poor Danny Schofield but Dean Hoyle deserves all the contempt we can mustre before and after the game Hang on a minute, we are all shocked, disappointed and unhappy about yesterday's news. But 'shocking state of the Club'We are good Championship level Club We have finished 3rd only last season We lost a play-off final to get to the Premier League We have secured long-term deals for key Players such as Sorba and Nicholls We have some superb Players such as LOB and Toffolo (well, at the time of writing we do!) Loads of season tickets sold (and we all like the cheap price we pay for them don't we?) We have a great squad of Players in my opinion But the club is in a 'shocking state'?.The risk of administration is real and rightly should and can be debated by fans. That’s the whole point of a fan discussion forum, If you don’t like it, don’t read it and clear off. Take prepare with you whilst you’re at it. My loyalties lay with Huddersfield Town, not Hoyle, Hodgkinson or anyone else. I dont apologise for discussing such a crucial time and decision such as this.

The fact that this is now a serious discussion just shows how badly the club has been run since we reached the cash cow league. The powers that be should be ashamed, especially after peddling the 'custodian' bollocks year after year. This would be a disaster for the club, the staff and for the countless businesses left out of pocket. How can this have been allowed to happen under the watch of people that supposedly support the club? Why wasn't the club sold last season when they had interested parties looking to buy? Selfish greed and gambling the clubs future on promotion can be the only answer. Fuck the lot of them! If we had beaten Forest in the final last year would you still be saying the same thing?

Must say, I wasnt reet enthused by the prospect of Marcus Evans taking us over (last year). Probably wouldve been better though looking back.

Is this the Illusory truth effect? The illusory truth effect (also known as the illusion of truth effect, validity effect, truth effect, or the reiteration effect) is the tendency to believe false information to be correct after repeated exposure. 2003 all over again 😬🤦🏼♂️
