😂😂 If someone from within is trying to force hands, you'd at least think they'd make it slightly believable. The most charitable explanation I can think of is that the 'Football Insider' has mistakenly linked to the wrong company in his article (it's been dormant since incorporation in 2018). It does feel as though he's been handed the wrong end of the stick though... |

What's the point of this, genuine investors making absolute mugs of themselves straight off the bat or a ploy to force someone's hand.
My 97 year old grandma isn't falling for that website.

I don't know, why would they change their own website in the last month if it was a simple case of incorrect information given to the journalist? If you Google the Manchester/Huddersfield phone number on their website too, it comes back with a phone number to an e-commerce shop in the middle of Huddersfield.. It is all very strange. |

My money is on whichever ITK said a UK consortium was interested the other day 😂 You are on to something here. I bet it's just a matter of time before our 'ITK'-posters actually start interfering with deals to be proved right. Can see Supernovak hiring a dutch actor, and sending him to canalside for a medical and then hijacking the cab of the actual player we are interested in. |

I don’t put a gun to their head, they choose to take on the custodianship. How about you explain to me why the shares haven’t been put into a trust despite 12 years of promises they would. I’m still waiting on an explanation. we have our differences Ben but on that subject I agree!! |

Well Anderson is indeed ma surname ! - Davie ain’t me Christian name tho - And he’s no relation either... Aberdionians have a reputation (rightly or wrongly) for being tight as Fu*k, so maybe not what’s required - Westie is very generous, so Westie with The Euromillions would be a good fit (I must try it tonight)... 😉 I might even forgoe ma staff discount on all the upper hundreds that I spend on HTAFC merchandise each year ! |

I'm getting a bit lost here. If Floyd's figures are correct - and to me as an outsider they seem the most believable and researched of any I've seen - then why on earth was Phil Hodgkinson allowed within a million miles of owning our club ? As PH and DH have said, Dean Hoyle actually went out of his way to approach Mr Hodgkinson. I can totally see how DH would have benefitted but how would Huddersfield Town ?!? Only my opinion , but the sooner these two, er, businessmen get out of my club, the better. Why wouldn't he be? What about Floyds figures makes you think that? Why the 'er, businessmen'.. are you questioning that they are now? I. Because those figures suggest he had nowhere near enough money to take over and support a Championship club. Apparently you and Deano disagreed ... 2. The "er, businessmen" ... was because I didn't want to put in the swear words I was really thinking of (there's too much of that on this forum) and because, almost daily, I'm more and more questioning the honesty,proberty and decency of certain people involved in my club, never mind their almost total ineptitude. |

I think you might be surprised how much a company with those kind of turnovers is likely to be worth. Hoyle clearly did think it was enough or he wouldn't have done that deal ( you arent going to sell something to someone unless you think they will pay for it ), and regardless of what people think he wouldn't want to leave the club in the hands of anyone who wouldn't be capable of running it financially once they had their ducks in a row. Yeah, ok, things happened after that time that ultimately meant PH wasnt capable of running it, but I dont see how Hoyle could have been expected to predict a global pandemic and law changes in the years following the sale without the use of a time machine. And people say " well it isnt hindsight because we called him out as being potless from day 1" ... but thats nonsense. There was NOTHING about PHs situation in day 1 to justify that. It was just people being predictably negative about a new owner because he wasnt one of the billionaire oligarchs they seemed to think was queueing up to buy the club. So we'll call him 'potless' even though hes worth god knows how many tens of millions at the time. " Its not in his savings account, so he asn't got any brass!" Honesty and decency seems to revolve around them being willing to hand the club huge chunks of their wealth as a gift and walk away? |
