Nothing doing first half, second better but we've no quality and it's all rushed, just aimless lashes up the park. Games are running out, we need wins. We're we that in effective and boring under Wagner as Norwich were tonight?

Wow. What a poor quality game. Norwich were a much poorer team than I had thought. In my opinion Town’s lack of ability can be emphasised by REG in the 1st half. Completely alone on the right wing his cross went straight into touch. We can’t play a passing game and we have no forward players who can challenge for the long ball. We are tactically bereft - I don’t think I have seen a Town team ( in any division) so short of ideas , so weak in midfield and so poor in attack. Have to say, I’m glad I went to the game. Because I am now very convinced that I haven’t seen a worse team than us this season.

Where's the fire? The heart? The professional self respect? Norwich weren't great, if anything they just typify what a shit league it is this season. And we're the shittest team in it, by far. Aside from Helik and the one legged keeper, that team can fuck off and never come back.

Very rarely do I criticise players on here or at least i try not to……but Jack Rudoni is absolute dog shite!!
He runs around a lot and gets on the ball, but actually contributes very little.

For all Norwich posession, can only remember one save by Vaclic.. Defensively better but too much running away again.. The actual graft in the second half was much, much better. 88 minute norwich corner ends up with Helik being our furthest forward player, great stuff just unfortunate but it bodes better for the rest of the games. Norwich were slick in the first half but we gave them too much room and the challenges were few and far between. Second half we played far more where the ball was and it was better. There was hard work on show, whatever you think about the selection, tactics and players themselves. I asked for that and I got it. Its a start of how we play out the season whatever happens off the pitch. Simpson has to get longer, Diarra likewise and if we ever see AK he has to start even if he cant finish the games. It was better.

I'm not trying to defend the players, but it's hard to shine when the ball spends the majority of the time up in the air.
When the ball is constantly being launched upfield it means our players can't show even the limited ability they have. They don't have a chance.
And that is on Warnock. No one else.

Name a player that’s been better than him this season… He’s a young lad, thrown in the deep end. Runs more than anyone, is more creative than anyone and feels like he’s the only one who ever looks like scoring because he gets in good positions - which tends to be 30 yards from goal because there’s nothing ahead of him. He will be a big asset in league one and to the club moving forward. Let’s not give him the sorba treatment and throw him out. I absolutely guarantee you he will be huge for us next season assuming we don’t sell.

Really frustrates me this. I know that any Town team playing it out from the back comes with a health warning, but the fact we’ve seemingly stopped doing that at every GK means we give up possession so easily, which equals pressure applied and nowt for our strikers to get hold of. I’d rather we get it on the floor and at least try to retain possession and build something. Most of the time this season we might as well have thrown the ball to their midfield and put half a dozen defenders on our 18 yd line. I’m convinced that we’re shite, but not as shite as we make ourselves look by this inane tactic.

Not much to cheer about for those of us who braved it out. First half the usual non-event, second half we were better but why the hell does Warnock leave it so late to make his subs and why so late in the game before we try go for it? Feared the worst after they got an early goal but they never tested us properly and I thought looked pretty poor. At some point, we are going to have to be far more positive from the start as we are running out of games.

He's easily knocked off the ball. He shoots with all the power of a 12 year old. He's spent all season running down blind alleys. He never plays a killer pass or makes the right decision within 30 yards of the opposition goal. And don't get me started on his set pieces, which are apparently "BeTtEr ThAn SoRbA's" £1m? They had our pants down.

I could only watch the last 20 minutes tonight and pleased to see the effort. Whatever we think about their quality there is no lack of application. One thing that worries me....and this is not just this season....is how coached players are becoming in football. There doesn't seem to be that free thought in most teams. I know warnock has the long ball reputation but I saw players who.saw the ball coming to them with plenty of time to stop and look for the best option but their coaching is 'lump it forward'. Similarly sometimes under corberan the 'pass it out from the back' seemed so ingrained that there wasn't a plan b in players minds. It creates one dimensional football in either case. Corberan at least showed the capacity to play 'horses for courses' sometimes. Wagner did too....I remember him virtually throwing away a game at Derby to try new tactics ready for the play offs. We can't simply say to the players...'do what you feel is right at that time' because they have a coaching philosophy so embedded. It's weird to watch players last season playing the passing patient game and now turned onto its head and whacking it anywhere. That's actually not a warnock team....his football was much more selective than that in his first spell but he was to work with what he's got and the levels of confidence....which seem appalling. I think he does have a plan...keep.us in vague striking distance and target the last 6 games. Do I have confidence in that? No sadly not really We passed the ball better under both Schofield and Fotheringham. You are right, Warnock can only work with what he's got, but the 'lump the ball anywhere' tactic is on him. We were poor on the ball before he came in, but now we're embarrassing. It's almost as of Warnock has become a parody of himself. I think it's going back to basics, we have too many mistakes in us, first thing to coach us defensive shape, next is minimise costly mistakes, ie. Don't piss about at the back.

Confidence is shot, playing with utter tripe around him. He’s the best of a bad bunch imo and the exact player we need to be building around in league one. I saw the exact thing happen with sorba whereby everyone turned on him, he fell out with the fans and club. Let’s not turn on another good talent when he’s been no worse than anyone else. And in fact, he’s been better than most of the professionals that have been at this level for years.

If you think he’s the problem in this side then you’re absolutely thick. You also haven’t named anyone who’s been better than him this season.

And you’re right, I shouldn’t be jumping on a 21 year old, I ask people not to do it with the likes of Diarra & Camara, so should take my own advice on Rudoni. 👍👍 Next season’s managerial appointment is so vital. We do have a lot of potentially very talented youngsters at the club. As you rightly say their confidence is shattered. We need a manager who can build that back up and get the very best out of them. Player recruitment is also key. We need 4 or 5 new leaders in the squad, who can also lift and help they young player

There’s 20 names I’d have ahead of him to go after. He will come good in the division below. Not ideal, but it’s the reality of our situation.

And the game was stopped for 3 mins within the 5 mins added on and didn't play any of it. Yet again we see professional footballers having worked out another con trick. I know, I’ll sit down on the pitch and break up play, telling the Ref I’m suffering a potential head injury. I know their lad sat down twice in the first half and had to be subbed, but they then did it at least once more in the second half. When are the footballing authorities going to wake up to this blatant bloody cheating? The Ref should be up there and making his own initial assessment, and if he thinks they’re putting it on (shock, horror), then get ‘em off the pitch and give ‘em a yellow card. It really pisses me off some of the stunts these namby pamby feckers pull every week…

Despite having a manager who couldn’t care a shit I thought the players gave 100%. No Hungbo who has been the only shining light from the transfer window. Koromo on the right where we all know he is better on the left where he can cut inside and score. No Simpson whowhen he came on was a hand full. Administration is a possibility but can we please no longer waste any money paying Warnock and get rid tomorrow.

Warnock definitely deserves some criticism.
I wonder how we’d fare with a caretaker player Mgr?
Would be fun to watch these last few games of that happened. It seems the days of those sort of roles are very much numbered though.

Other than the Birmingham game what exactly has Warnock added. Going to Burnley with no intention of competing to me was a disgrace. I didn’t expect us to win but throwing the towel in before the game is completely unacceptable
