I just want someone rich to say you buy the tickets we will buy the players and then actually fucking do it. A Dutch investment needs to be announced with a fan fair and a strategy or selling season tickets will be like selling hot soup in the desert. We might get this Dutch striker after all.

How dare Dean Hoyle sell the club he owns for the value of the money he put in. I’d much prefer he took his loans back and then said the club is worth X amount more on top. Honestly this board is ridiculous, thick as mince the vast majority. Take his so called loans back from where, exactly? His nominal value for the club matches what he is owed.

So the Dutch have guaranteed the staged payments from the club to Hoyle. To repay him the money HE spent? How dare Dean Hoyle sell the club he owns for the value of the money he put in. I’d much prefer he took his loans back and then said the club is worth X amount more on top. Honestly this board is ridiculous, thick as mince the vast majority. I'd have a bit more respect for him if he admitted that this is the reason why he has gone with the Dutch offer. He may do but I fully expect he will state it is was the best deal for the club

I don't necessarily think the Dutch are a bad option it could turn out well, but I truly believe Hoyles only point on his checklist was 1. Will you give me all my money back?. The Dutch said yes the Yanks likely told him to swivel.

Is it 100% done or is there still a say from the Americans?

I’m clinging onto the hope the Americans could have taken over and got bored if they didn’t get instant results and that the Dutch guy, although it may be more boring has a longer term plan. Massive straws being clutched. Be interesting to hear what he has to say. I thought the American consortium was headed by the guys who used to own the San Diego Padres. People who definitely know how to run a sports club and understand that it often requires a bit of patience. What sport do they play ?

Is HTFC worth £40m ( a guess) ? You’d hope so if you believe in its potential and history. Is the current owner owed a ridiculous amount becaue he’s run the club into the ground? No it’s about £40m (again guessing). So let him take that as value and move on.

It’s just good to know Deans health must have improved if he’s not taking the total break as he’d said. Praise the Lord 🙏 Will Hoyle still have a say in any decisions that matter or will the investment be enough to give the Dutch control, leaving Hoyle as a figurehead whilst he has his loans repaid ? Cheers Maynard.

They’ve been shown as loans in the audited statutory accounts every year since his first year on the board. To suggest they are anything else is nonsense.

Probably not, but it might be worth a whole lot more than the £5m he sold it to Phil for, if full operational control of the stadium & Canalside are part of the deal. The repayment of loans were not part of the asking price last time.

DH is a businessman, he will have mentioned ‘potential’ a number of times in talks I would imagine.

Assume you weren’t one of those at the Town Hall Saturday then. Debate for another day but joking about a bad thing in no way changes how bad that thing is. Back to Town. I hope this takeover works better than… insert your own punchline I didn't mind Slapps attempt at humour but he's no Jimmy Carr. You make that sound like its a bad thing.

It’s just good to know Deans health must have improved if he’s not taking the total break as he’d said. Just like it did before the playoff final, incredible isn’t it. Pancreatitus is manageable once known about. They even have fixes for it using botox. Too much has been made of the ongoing health issue.. life threatening initially but shouldn't be long term. Hard to argue when the health card gets pulled.
