Not greasy, but Pedigree is outdated mass produced shite. Think you might be confusing Marstons the brewer with Marstons the fried chicken shop and favourite of amongst others Steve Mounié? Remember those ads for Marston's beer in the 90s, where this bloke goes back in time and meets famous Victorian inventors, which apparently links to Marston's beer in some way. Still very underwhelming slop though. |

I sense you don’t like Dixons. Got to be said Dixons is Milk Ice. Very different to standard ice cream. For me, Dixons is sublime. It’s been an icon in Huddersfield for years. Many folk will have happy childhood memories of it, and if it’s good enough for Samuel L Jackson, it’s good enough for me. Me not liking milk might explain it then hmmm... is this another layer to the "Why Porrohman hates Liverpool" lore? 🤔 "Exacccchhhhly!" |

So what does the new poster glean from this thread?
We have debates about ice cream. (or is it ice cream?)
We have a chicken shop that splits opinion (only ever had stuff from there once, so not qualified to comment)
Also, that chicken shop can be confused with a brewery.
I think that’s all the cultural angles of our Town covered. Can we now move on to describing all the rubbish countryside we have, our incredibly unfriendly people and other things like our industrial heritage?
And just to top this off…
Just as I posted that, an email popped in on that next door neighbour thing…
“has anyone lost this ferret”

Having eaten plenty of chicken in the US im not sure marstons will greatly impress.
Would have to be a sunday beef and yorkshires, but I dont even know anywhere in huddersfield that does a good one..

He did do a town game at the JSS too. Went by the name 'American Soccer Fan' ironically his Facebook page is of a town shirt too! |
