The lads' on loan at club chasing the PL. Whether we like it or not, of course he's gonna celebrate / want the comeback - it's in his, and our, interests to be involved in the playoffs. I disagree. If he did celebrate (most likely he didn't) then he is out of order with us being his parent club. No matter what his beef is with the powers that be, he should respect the fans IMO

There are some people I frequently agree with and some I frequently don't. Some I tend to agree with about football but we're miles apart politically or vice versa. There's 4 current, active members of this forum where I could put a name to a face IRL, and one of those is myself! Just because the same people tend to disagree with you doesn't mean it's a conspiracy. Just because some people frequently agree with one another doesn't make them a clique. Now then I have been thinking about this for a while, I never got on with daz and blocked him due to the posts he put out . But when I saw his face and knew his back story I unblocked him and developed true empathy for the bloke. I think posting our pictures would be a good thing and stop some of the obscene bullying and abuse that goes on datm. Or maybe post a picture of what you think they look like. That could be fun

It seems like similar behaviour to his antics before Wales played England- excitable chap who's a bit over eager to fit in somewhere and show that he wants to belong.

The lads' on loan at club chasing the PL. Whether we like it or not, of course he's gonna celebrate / want the comeback - it's in his, and our, interests to be involved in the playoffs. If that's true then he's an idiot IMO. Anyone with half an ounce of sense would be keeping a low profile, he might have wanted his current team to win but his employers (and its fans) are still paying his wages and stand a good chance of being relegated with all that it entails (job losses etc). For that reason he should have shown some class and not overtly celebrated any of the goals, basic common sense. Plus, no matter what he thinks, he may well end up back here next season. They might not want him in either league and Town might, if we manage to stay up, and maybe even if we don't depending on the budget. Nothing like a bit of exaggeration and loss of perspective on DATM. - you don't know it happened. - Football is an emotional sport. - You have no idea we are paying his wages whilst on loan, and it is doubtful we are. - there are rumours he's been treated like shite by the club and previous management team. - its documented he has been rattled by our 'fans'. Calling him a paedo aint gonna help. - i'm pretty sure neither Sorba, or any other footballer for that matter, would be thinking about potential job losses at that time.

not sure what anyone is moaning about i certainly would have taken a point before kick off and with cardiff and reading results a point gained prod pro quo with the other relegation candidates , off course we could have got a third on the breakaway if the lads could make a 40 yard pass to one of their own players i thought a good hard working defensive performance and nicked 2 goals to get a point- we now have more points than most of us thought possible a month ago ,going forward points from games against anyone but reading and cardiff is a bonus! Its minutes away from 3 points, again. Its the same tactic(if standing about in your box is a tactic) again that cost us 2 points. Its the inability or the desire from the coach or the players to trust themselves a little more and to change what we are doing. Snatching a point from the jaws of 3 points shouldnt ever be enough, especially after 3 wins. We will be required to be braver, you can see what is likely to happen over the next few games. If you are not somewhat disappointed by losing another 2 points right at the death again, and if the coach and the squad are with you, we are still in serious trouble. Swansea will have the football a lot, if we back away into our box and stay in they will manufacture the man over and we will concede. We must possess a potential threat and it will need to be for the match, not a few minutes here and there. Swansea like the ball, they like to sit in your half, we know this. Simpson and Harrat for 15 minutes yesterday would have been a better defence than sitting in our box.

off course i was they scored but years of supporting town almost made it inevitable, i agree as a supporter watching them sit back you know what will probably happen- bringing on another outlet would have meant one less man behind the ball and possibly an earlier equaliser and even more pressure of course on the other hand had we broken away and scored different result / felings / etc

Jackson ran the ball down the right wing. He massively overhit a pass to a player that looked to be away, at worst 1v1. It’s just desperately poor and fairly obvious when combined with the Kasumu stat as to why our completed passes was embarrassingly low

Harratt is the shorter outball or at least chasing it and simpson for the longer ones. We are not 'attacking' but defending differently and we have at least a chance of holding the ball and making ground. Best defence in the world is a big, quick striker chasing a defender back into his own half. We had the bench for this specific tactic.

Jackson ran the ball down the right wing. He massively overhit a pass to a player that looked to be away, at worst 1v1. It’s just desperately poor and fairly obvious when combined with the Kasumu stat as to why our completed passes was embarrassingly low It boils down to composure. Those 2 passes could have given us 2 decent chances to seal the points yesterday, but I also think it’s harsh to criticise when the team were under so much pressure at those points. I watched the last few mins of the Liverpool v Arsenal game the other day. In injury time Arsenal had a great opportunity to get the ball to Sakha and he’d probably have finished it off. But the pass was just overhit and their keeper beat Sakha to the ball. That’s a side that’s at the top of their game & even they missed a pass that 8 or 9 times out of ten they’d have made, maybe if it wasn’t 2-2 and into injury time as well. I think it would be churlish to criticise the team at the moment. We all know what we’d like to see in the stands, but these lads are coming towards the end of a season where their confidence has been shot to pieces for so long. It’s not inconceivable to think there might still be some doubt in their minds. There was also a pass to Ward that Koroma could have played in the first half, but it seems to have been glossed over in the post match comments. Football is if’s, but’s and maybe’s, I think we’re on the right track just now, we just need to keep our heads for 5 more games, taking each one as it comes, but I think we’d be daft to expect a change in the current tactics. Let’s survive and try and build on the quality side post season & with whatever new personnel changes are afoot.

We are not used to heavy rain in the Huddersfield veldt and Town struggle to produce their characteristic champagne football in monsoon conditions. In the key stats field Town scored two. Precisley, this was the perfect example of 'the only stats that mean owt are goals', dont get me wrong we got battered but possession and passes dont always mean points.

Its a lucky point and we need a goalkeeper not a camera save merchant. I thought our keeper had a great game.

He stays on his line and isnt a sweeper either. All keepers make flying saves, some do the rest required, wether its his injury or not who knows..? If we defend our box for 50 minutes a game he will be needed to get involved a lot more and saves from shots will just be a part. Perhaps some of the very deep tactics are because he aint coming for the ball?

'Dropped a header for the second!' You mean pulled of a great save and they reacted quicker and scored from the loose ball? hes no Nicholls but he did very well in that game and earned us a point we didnt deserve IMO.

The second goal was an excellent low save from a close range header. The reason they scored is the lad who was first to the rebound was on as a 73 minute sub and was quicker than our defenders, who were knackered. I have had my doubts about Vaclík but he was outstanding yesterday. He came and punched, really well, when needed and he caught a few being challenged by opposition players. Best I have seen him play and I don’t think Nicholls would have done better.

I actually agree that players without the ability to play that sort of football shouldn’t. I even agree that some of the football under Carlos wasn’t good to watch (although I would argue that the results far outweighed the resources and the ends justified the means). It was the Guardiola comment I was reacting to. Surely, some of the football Man City have played is amongst the best this country has ever seen? It is, but most teams in the country have tried to copy it and they clearly can't play that style. I'm sure you'd have found something else to pick at if I hadn't mentioned Guardiola. I'm awaiting "Porrohman/henryc/Sio/Dan and Ted chips likes this" on all your posts now as per. FFS grow up. It’s like the kid that always shits their pants complaining that nobody wants to play with them.

The first goal yesterday he came to narrow the angle and fell over backwards instead of standing up. We have different views of what goalkeepers in professional football must be able to do. We dont ask him to play as we did with others?? They all make the flying saves, in truth if you have decent reflexes anyone can to a extent. His positioning and then desire to dive instead of using his feet to save cost us the week before at Watford. Im not blaming him for yesterday they got in our box and stayed there for so long it was simply a matter of time. The only question was could they score 3.

I thought their lad finished brilliantly for their first goal. Not many keepers would have saved that one. He’s simply trying to make himself as big as possible and the bloke dinks it over him. They were trying to play intricate football just as Boro were, both had to resort to aerial balls to get their second goals, which is testament to our lads throwing their bodies in the way to stop the tippy tappying having any effect for them.
