Although Buxton only one had one spell as manager  He came back to help out Ian Ross, so not officially a manager. The great man will be 80 later this month (29th)......Plenty of wellwishes from the Blue & White army. |

Looking like he's staying at Norwich for the time being. Quoted in the Eastern Daily Press as saying it's going to be a hectic summer in the transfer market for them. Ashley Barnes supposed to be among a number of targets. Certainly be interesting to see who goes there, as long as he doesn't nick any of our good players! Got a feeling he'll do well there; if we end up above them, we won't be far off the play-offs 2024 imo.

Interesting that Warnock didn't seem very impressed with either Wagner or Corberan. Made a couple of references to how good their respective squads were and commented that after we'd played both he knew neither would make the play offs.
He intimated it was almost criminal that neither made the top 6 with the quality they have at their disposal and he joked he wish he had that kind of quality.

I think to be fair to CC, his achievements over the last two seasons can’t really be faulted. Granted, he missed the playoffs with WBA, but he took them from near bottom into the top six and like every side a little sticky patch ensued, before they came again within a whisker. I’m sure he’ll do well next season if allowed to put his own mark on the squad. |

The thing with CC is that he hasn’t really failed yet, whereas Wagner has a few failures on his CV. Most of the career managers say that you have to experience the failures to improve your craft. Let’s hope that, for CC, that happens at those wankers, Leeds. |

Neil is one of the LMA hall of fame along with four other ex Town managers, Bruce, Chapman, Horton & Shanks........Surely Clem Stephenson was miles above at least two of those. |

A few months ago I had felt all of the enthusiasm had drained away from me. Now, after what he’s achieved, including bringing back a great atmosphere in the ground, I just can’t wait for the new season. |

I know I’ll get flamed and accused of nostalgia, but he’s a greatly underrated manager. His currency will go through the roof when he gets Norwich promoted end of this season. Of course it isn’t going to happen, and it’s not just Wagner who is taking Norwich up, it’s the whole set up there and our ex staff. We’ve lost our way yet again. Not convinced that Nagle and his team are going to hack it. |
