Pointless - not done much for their B team and is 20 now without any first team minutes anywhere. Get his mum down pole dancing at half time She'd still scowl like a heifer.

Junior Hoilett will be leaving Reading and is as Warnock a signing as you can get. Would not shock me to see us handing 40 year old Phil Jagielka a deal too to link up with his old mate!

Jack O'Connell been released by Sheff Utd.
Would be a great addition into a back 3. Lees as the back up.

I've no idea what the budget is, but it will be finite - so I question the need to bring in another centre back.
It's probably one of only two areas (DCM as well) where I don't think we need strengthening.
Better to use the budget elsewhere, surely?

I think the injury to his knee was horrible, if he was to go anywhere it would have to be a pay-as-you-play.

I think we should be looking to replace Lees now, possibly with a prem loan ala Colwill (not Mbete!), although it really does depend on which formation we’re playing.

If you add to that, that yes Lees,Pearson and Helik are good at this level. But where is the cover? so cover/ comp is needed.

Makes no sense replacing one player at veteran stage with another player at veteran stage.

Totally agree Boyle. If you add to that, that yes Lees,Pearson and Helik are good at this level. But where is the cover? so cover/ comp is needed. * REG * Yuta Nakayama * Will Boyle * Hogg can drop into the middle of a 3 * Turtinho can drop into the right of a 3 * Ayina reportedly improved enormously at Dundee Utd. Was trusted in important games. Some of those you might not rate. But surely (e.g.) Boyle/REG is good enough to at least be 5th/6th choice for what will either be 2 or 3 positions in the side. As for the prem loan, if you can guarantee they're as good as Colwill, of course you'd have them. But "as good as Mbete" is just as likely. I'd rather we put that money towards getting a better striker, or winger (either side), or midfield playmaker, or fullback (either side), or goalkeeper.

Even 3 at the back, we could have Lees as back up. Yuta helik Pearson. Turton performed really well there too. Also got REG. I would CB is the last place we need anyone.

Max Power freed by Wigan scores some screamers. Training with Stockport (along with Nick Powell). Make of that what you will.

Someone with Powell's ability still being without a club says everything about his fitness and history of being crocked. He's absolute quality and would have been an England regular if it wasn't for injuries and some apparent early attitude problems. I'd have him here with open arms if you could guarantee 30 games out of him, which wouldn't be likely. Don't think Power has ever done owt above League 1 level.

Dillon Phillips was a free agent. Signed for Rotherham now.
Shame, he would have been decent although Rotherham can offer him regular first team football and unless Nicholls leaves or gets injured we probably can't.

This is where we seem to be looking. Neil just said we won't be paying out for transfers but we have a little bit of money for wages.

im not sure id believe that even if he did say it. would just be a repeat of last season. even with ffp sure we can spend some money You'd have thought so, but all the bad recruitment at the start of the season and the wasted wages on the injured January recruitments has screwed our FFP calculations into the ground. Plus there was something from some of the ITK about Kevin's first season in charge would be limited because of the business plan he had to submit and limitations imposed by the EFL around that.
