If……if he’s fit he would be ahead of them all. but My message was on the hope someone would say that we are (hopefully) talking to atleast 1/2 of them….
Would have taken Cathcart but think he’s got a new club now.

Already announced a few days ago before their transfer window closed: Can you imagine the furore over here if we'd announced signing a BAME player with THAT headline I think you’re looking for things that don’t exist. Especially given the ‘Black Panther’ movement. Which I’d say is more fitting, no?

I’d be more concerned that he’s another regime puppet for their sportswashing campaign after they executed a man for sending six tweets and a women for advocating females driving. And before anyone says ‘their state, their rules’; that would imply there’s freedom of choice, which there isn’t. If you’re not connected, you’re born there and you’re a slave of the state.

Us (and the US obviously) interfering in other countries' laws has caused and/or exacerbated untold problems in the world, with consequences that could last for generations. I'm not disagreeing with you in the slightest, although I can't believe a tongue-in-cheek comment has sparked this kind of debate

There’s something that doesn’t sit right with me about Andre Gray’s tattoos. The guy seems to have a humongous chip on his shoulder. Or maybe i’m just subconsciously a bit racist by recent definitions.

It’s quite a work of art actually which i would admire in a gallery or the like but it’s purely dedicated to historical black figures such as Malcolm X who you could argue would be very racist people themselves if they lived in these times.
Maybe it’s just me but an entire back tattoo strikes me as someone with a “bee in his bonnet”

I'm not disagreeing with you in the slightest, although I can't believe a tongue-in-cheek comment has sparked this kind of debate True, but it depends upon what type of interference you're talking about. Example - some friends of mine boycott Chinese goods due to their objection to their human rights record. To the Uighur people in particular. I haven't asked them, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't support military action against China. Interference in other countries' laws happens all the time - via negotiations and power plays. Military interference is a different matter. Andre Gray could easily have boycotted the Saudi regime if he'd wanted to - without exacerbating any issues. EDIT: WRT your last paragraph, are you new here?

It's a large reason countries are turning to BRICS and not the G7.

It is a closed group and supposedly organized around shared values of pluralism, liberal democracy, and representative government. Given this some members of BRICS mainly Russia and China would not be wellcome. I am not sure on how much "interfering in other countries' laws" we get up to these days as we are just a two bit player in the world these days. The USA interfere everywhere including in it's so called friends internal politics.

I see Rovrum have signed Sam Clucas a free agent.Warnock must think he is not as good as our player in that position.

The thing about free agents is that they are free agents for a reason. Usually because they are full of self-worth (bummed up by their agents) and they are asking for too much money (because of their agents).
